The school's colors are green and yellow. Very bright when you walk in. Looks like tons of athletic accomplishments. Very spacious and hold quite a few spectators. Each event was dance related and it's a huge difference being a spectator and a coach. As a spectator, the high school dances from a side view. As a middle school coach, it was way more crowd friendly since the dancers faced the crowd. For each event, there was enough room for everyone to enjoy the show!

As a result, the schools are not considered an issue right now (no mention that I heard in the mayoral race). But the schools are pretty mediocre (some schools are great, as good as any private school education while others are very troubled) and the "main office" is TERRIBLE. It's as bad as any bureaucracy I could name.

Single. Year. It didn't stop. We told Principal Adam Kirk about my situation but he just sat behind the desktop computer - not caring about anything whatsoever. I ended up being forced to switch my FAVORITE class and they kept the bully in that class. I had to go to a "bad kid" class because they thought I was making things up. Only certain teachers were good. For example, Mrs. Heaton, Mrs. Burks, Mrs. Doty, Mrs. Pulmano, Mr. Chenault, Ms. Campbell, Mrs. Brooks, Mrs. Katie, and a few others... I don't recommend this for any child - especially any child that might have insecurities. I was bigger than most kids when younger, so the bullying made me feel bad about myself!

Yes, I went to UK because that was one college that I had applied to that actually had a football program! But unlike UK, this high school actually chose a mascot that makes sense. I have yet to see a cat of the "wild" species. Apparently, the students had taken a vote on Broncos, which is fitting! So it goes to write that I found out that this school, which opened in 2017, had started enrolling and by the end of the season, their football team was ranked 25th in the state! Can you believe that?! It is the highest ranked public school football team in Lexington! So for that achievement, I have a team to follow (not as closely as college football mind you); however, it is still something. Also, I have to write that their website was easy to follow, when I had scrutinized the scheduling and the tour was amazing, very beautiful surroundings and lay out! Apparently, their first game is a scrimmage tomorrow and they actually play more local high schools than last year, one will get to see them actually test themselves as the best public school in Lexington! Who knew that a high school could throw a football team together and have the team go onto being one of the top ranked schools, in football, their first year? AMAZING!
