Do not trust their billing practices! They quoted me a price over the phone, offered a 10% discount, and then tried not to honor the discount. Their receptionist tried to bill me the non-discounted amount, I told her the lower price that I had been given over the phone, and she gave me a carefully wordsmithed response of "then that's all we'll collect from you today", without acknowledging that they would bill me more later. I had to file a fraud complaint with my insurance company to get them to honor the discount. Even after that, they sent me an additional bill later. The billing department (at St. Joseph's) first said that they were associated with Bryan Radiology & handled all their billing, but then said that they were unaware that Bryan Radiology had additional fees. There are other imaging centers in town, and some ENTs will even do CT scans for much less than this place, so do some price shopping and you'll be in better shape. read more

It appears that Bryan Radiology Associates, has a history of bad or poor administrative business practices dating back to 2016. Which means to me that the management there is extremely poor. Can't blame the clerk if the manager isn't worth their paycheck. Oh, my complaint. It's the, "I paid the bill already and still I received a final notice months later". Strongarm gangster practice. I had an x-ray at Asipire and I payed my portion of insurance. Bryan Radiology Associates billed me additionally over six months later. I do not feel this was a ligimate bill. But I paid it because I did not want it on my credit report. I feel like I got scammed. read more

Impossible to get an appointment. I have been going back and forth with them and my doctor. They lost the work order from the doctor and you have to call your doctor again. Radiologist refuses to do one breast which is the problem one even though it is the work order of my doctor because according to them my annual exam is only 3 months away. They will not do it because they are afraid my insurance will not pay for my annual exam and I have very good insurance. Also, I can afford to pay for my annual exam if my insurance does not pay. Two months later I received radiology services as a cash customer at Columbus Hospital. I was given a bill at the time it was done and paid it at that time. Summary: This place has serious problems with business ethics (not trustworthy) and the billing policies are not good for the patients. They say incorrect or misleading things about billing. And their communication manners suffer. They bill patients for their services (X-rays) as "office settings", which with many insurances (I personally checked that with 2 different major insurance providers) generates a co-pay. They give various wrong explanations of what is happening, sending you on a goose chase. Once you've wasted your time and debunk their inaccurate statements, they tell you that it does not matter, it is how they bill, and you have to pay. In more detail: 1. It is hard to reach the manager, Nicole. The billing person promised the manager would call back, and she never did (waited several weeks). Then they denied they've promised to call. 2. When finally I was able to talk with the manger Nicole, she made incorrect statements (I have them recorded), and suggested to verify with the insurance one of them that was contradicting what the EoB showed and the insurance had told us. I called the insurance and they confirmed that they had never said what Nicole's associate claimed. After that it took me 4 days to reach Nicole again, as she doesn't pick up the phone and doesn't call back when you leave a message on her voice mail. (When I asked the operator if Nicole was actually in, I received a somewhat agitated response that I should leave a voice mail.) 3. Once I told Nicole that she had made incorrect statements (can you believe the rest she says?), she kept interrupted me without letting to finish a sentence. That was simply rude. 4. Throughout the conversations, she kept saying that they've been billing this way for many years, and that I was the first one who called about this copay, and that most insurance companies do not have a copay. That's incorrect: I checked with the plan from yet another major provider (BCBS), and they also have a copay. After reading this, can you trust this office? I have serious concerns. Caveat Emptor! I'll try to stay away from this facility. But, it might be hard in the smallish BCS area. read more

Mary Jane at Bryan Radiology is AWESOME! Several days ago I made an appointment, however my doctors office failed to get the pre-certification. I only had to wait a few minutes to learn that my appointment had to be rescheduled. Yeah, that sucks, but Mary Jane did all she could and apologized a number of times. I was billed by this facility for reading an MRI I had done elsewhere. I have paperwork (EOB) showing that the charge has been paid by my insurance. During the past two weeks I have called the billing department on four different occasions and can only talk to an answering machine. So far I have not received a return call. I have been to Bryan Radioology for a few years now to get my anuual mammogram. This time my dr. office faxed over the order an hour before my noon appt. because BR said they haven't gotten one yet. When I get there at noon, fill out paperwork and pay, the person at the desk says she is looking on the computer and can't find it and I can't do the exam without one. I ask her to check again, she says it's not there. This is not like Dr. Gayle's office to do this.But they were closed for lunch so I had to come back. I had just spoke to them at 11 am and they said the order was faxed and rec'd by the Bryan Radiaology. I was very upset I drove all the way across town for nothing! The girl said I could come back at 3. I waited until 1 to speak to Dr Gayle's office and the nurse said she spoke with someone at BR who confirmed the fax was rec'd at 11!!! What? Kidding me??? So it was there all along but the desk cleerk was too incompetent and unprofessional to look for it? I was even more mad now and when I went back to BR at 3 for my appt. the 2 desk clerks (one who talked to my dr. office confirming they get fax at 11) said they get so many digital faxes comeing in that its hard to find them. Really? Sounds like a horrible system to me and a huge inconvenience for patients. They had no clue and wost ofall, they could care less!! BAD BUSINESS!!! Would give no stars if available ,had a ct scan done they tell my cost is 910 I pay half and when I get the bill after my ins pays them ,they bill me 1350 more double what they told me .they tell me it was a estimated price ,if I did that to my customers I would be out of business!!!!!! I must say, after reading other reviews, I'm a little nervous about receiving my bill. However, until said bill arrives, I am pleased with my experience at Bryan Radiology. I came to this facility many times over the years & never experienced a problem. The last 2 yrs, however, I used Scott & White for all my radiology needs (due to Scott & White Insurance, which was a nightmare.) Now I am happy to return to Bryan Radiology. Scheduling my appointment was easy enough. This is a small office with easy parking. When I arrived, I only had to complete one brief information page. I was not required to pay anything on my appointment day for this particular procedure. I was called back promptly on time. The technician, Ally, was courteous & professional. The ultrasound room was comfortable & included a private bathroom for changing into a gown. The test was done quickly & I was comfortable during the procedure. Ally double checked the images before I left to make sure she got what was needed. In & out, no complaints. This was a much nicer experience for imaging than I have had at the hospital radiology departments here in BCS. read more
