Today April 28 got a call from law office we spoke for 15 minutes about my petition and I felt very pressured to change the star rating to some thing else as she is used to of all five star rating. After our discussion, I felt that she was too expensive highest from all I spoke to for just filling two forms in CEAC and felt really ripped off. I requested her to send me data via email which she never did. I just got a email in the evening from her that she cannot process my petition. This law office was too expensive and just pressuring me to change the star rating. Well she can claim any amount she likes to charge but any one with some IQ will not retain her too expensive. I am glad I am not retaining her in any way.

It has been a great pleasure working with Julie Zhang, Rachel Wei and the team…read more As the first-time family-based green card applicants, we were nervous about what to do, particularly with the immigration polices uncertainties during the period of government administration changes. The kindness, encouragement, patience, and professional support offered by this team over the entire process has been invaluable for us. It is the team's detail-oriented approach, flawless document preparation, and timely hands-on help that enabled us to receive EAD, AP, and Green card approvals as expected, and the entire process to complete with less than four months. Before deciding to work with the Oliver-Zhang Law, we had contacted a few law firms, but not until after we were impressed by Rachel in a consultation could we believe that we found a representation that we can rely on. During the hour-long session, Rachel showed her deep knowledge in immigration law, addressed our questions/concerns in a simple and easy-to-understand way; the path forward was highlighted clearly and convincing. Over the course of preparation, the communication channel has been clear, and the team has always been ready to provide timely guidance and support; when we were frustrated by the challenges and delays in preparation of the required supporting documents, Rachel and Annjelika have been always available with encouragement and support. On all the major activities along the case process, guidance on what to do has always been clear, and advice on DOs and DON'Ts has been always provided in detail and timely manner. When receiving the USCIS interview notice we were kind of stressed, but the stress was soon relieved after the mock interview session, which was so well prepared, thorough, and informative. Again, we were deeply impressed by the professionalism of the lawyers who attended the training session, who provided so many valuable advice, and invaluable encouragement. Julie's presence during the USCIS Interview offering her timely support was certainly another credit to the reliable services of the law firm. Once again, we appreciate Rachel and Julie's experience and knowledge in immigration laws, and Annjelika's continuous support and always keeping things on track. We strongly recommend the immigration law representation by the law firm of Oliver-Zhang Law.

Mina and her paralegal Keisha were so helpful in guiding us through completion of all the forms we needed to file, and Mina was so helpful during the interview with the USCIS officer. The USCIS officer granted my wife permanent residency on the spot! This was in no small part due to Mina's preparing us for interview questions and assistance during the interview, as well as the strength of the application that she advised us on. She saw that my wife will make a great American permanent resident and Citizen, and gave invaluable advice on how to communicate this to USCIS. My wife and I would give her 10 stars if we could!

Carolyn is a wonderful attorney and a supportive, understanding human being. I am truly grateful…read morethat I had the opportunity to work with her. I spoke with several attorneys before making my decision, and from our very first phone call I could tell she was different. She did not rush the conversation or treat it like just another case, she listened carefully, understood the details of my situation, and provided thoughtful, practical advice right away. That first call lasted more than half an hour, and after it, I knew I wanted her to represent me. My divorce case was long and challenging, and Carolyn was exceptional throughout the entire process. She handled many responsibilities beyond what was expected and always remained solution-focused. At times, the mediator and the opposing attorney were difficult to work with, and there were even moments when it felt like she was doing more than her share just to keep the process moving forward. She was always accessible, I could reach her quickly whenever needed, we spent hours discussing important details, and she consistently responded to my emails in minutes. I was going through an extremely difficult time financially and emotionally, and Carolyn was incredibly supportive. Even during periods when I struggled to make payments, she continued to work hard and never pressured me. In fact, there were times when she first asked whether I was financially okay before even mentioning her fees. That says a lot about her character, she is not money-centered; she genuinely cares about her clients as people. There were moments when I shared my sadness and emotional struggles, and she was supportive like a friend and, at times, almost like a therapist. She guided me with honesty and professionalism, sometimes telling me things that were difficult to hear, but that honesty is exactly what makes her such an exceptional attorney. She does not sugarcoat reality; she is direct, logical, and always focused on achieving the best possible outcome. In the end, we were able to reach an agreement, and my divorce is now finalized. I truly owe this result in large part to Carolyn's dedication, intelligence, and steady guidance. I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs not only a highly skilled and successful attorney, but also a genuinely kind and compassionate human being.

I can't even imagine trying to navigate this process on my own!…read more I'm an attorney myself and the green card application process for my mom would have been overwhelming, time consuming and expensive to do on my own. The attorneys (I worked with Joy and Amy) and paralegal (Ana) were all helpful, responsive and easy to work with. Although I made one in-person visit to drop some papers off, most interactions were handled via zoom, phone, email, and an online portal to securely upload documents. While not inexpensive, it was worth every penny to know the paperwork was being done correctly and USCIS wasn't going to come back with a million questions or deny the application. Every case is different and my mom's situation wasn't incredibly complex, but it took half the time we estimated. Bottom line - applying for a green card isn't an easy process, even if you're a native English speaker. There are tons of forms to fill out and documents to provide. The USCIS website is less than helpful and the process itself isn't cheap. This team knows how to make the process relatively painless and get results.

From start to finish, it was clear that he cared deeply about his craft, his profession, and providing us with the absolute best representation. His representation remains one of the greatest investments and value received to this day! What stood out just as much was the respect he commanded in the courtroom. Even bail bondsmen and court clerks recognized him and noted how he consistently makes prosecutors work hard. That gave me incredible confidence in knowing we had the right person on our side. To this day, I remain blown away by his skill, humility, and thoughtfulness. I only hope he'll still be available if we ever need his services again -- though I wouldn't be surprised to see him rise to even higher levels in his career, which would be well deserved. My brother was accused and eventually charged with marriage fraud, a federal crime, and even though he was and is innocent, the prosecution was dead set on convicting him. When my brother was arrested Jessica was my first phone call and not only had she remembered my brother from a brief consult a year before, but was extremely empathetic to his situation and was ready to help right away. She brought her partner Yancey Ellis to the case and the two of them made a dream team. For the first time in months (and years) I felt I could take a breath and let them take over my fight for my brother. I've had several bad experiences with lawyers and letting go of the reigns and letting the two of them take control was a huge deal and a huge relief because they were kicking ass. Since day one of hiring Jessica and Yancey, they've given it their all and there wasn't a day, email or phone call that went unanswered. They both are very professional, prompt, knowledgeable and heavily involved in their cases. Not only did they give me peace of mind that my brother's life and future are in good hands but accomplished the ultimate results in a record time. With their amazing work they managed to get the case dismissed by prosecution and release my brother sparing him and our whole family humiliation of the trail. Myself, my brother and our whole family is eternally thankful to Jessica and Yancey!! They rock!
