I'll be honest, it was a real adjustment moving from the hospital environment, to one that I have never experienced, so there were some bumps in the road - for the family to learn how to communicate best with the staff - and the staff to get to know us and my moms needs, but we are fortunate enough be able to be there often, and advocate for her. I have found the nursing and CNA staff to be compassionate, qualified, professionals overall. When I have felt that we had issues I didn't know how to resolve, the Administration was very willing to help us navigate the process and make any changes, or accommodations that they were able to. The Case Manager, the Physical Therapy staff, the nutritionists - seriously, everyone from the janitorial staff to the Administrator made me feel like my mother was safe, cared about, and physically rehabilitated to the best of her abilities. It absolutely helps the more the family can be involved to help their loved one get acclimated, and build the relationships with staff to help make the stay as productive and pleasant as possible under these circumstances. Thank you to everyone who has been involved in her care during her stay. You are just too many to name individually, but you know that I know who you are.

He diagnosed me with bipolar off of a few very basic questions and the fact that I cried when telling him that a friend had killed himself. I told him I've never had manic symptoms. I have family with the disorder and never related to them. He then told me, "You sound like a bipolar person who doesn't want to be diagnosed with bipolar." The lady he also had me see was rude to me too. Told me, "This isn't a therapy session." When listing off my symptoms of anxiety. I have since been diagnosed with anxiety by two other incredible specialists and am on a medicine that actually works for me. I've decided to make this review because I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through. Horrific experience. Horrific psychiatrist.

We had a situation with my father and she made it a point to step in and help him get back on the right track! They have strenuous protocol in place for covid 19 requiring new patients to be in a separate room for 14 days and visitors are not allowed. After 2 weeks they are moved to a unit with a roommate. My father has had quite an adjustment from the hospital to nursing home, but I feel that Robyn is helping smooth this transition. He also has a night nurse that takes great care, Theresa. They also have fun ice cream socials for residents as well as a nice courtyard outside!
