Holtzman Propane took over Bruce's Propane about 2 years ago. Mostly the service has been OK. With the approaching storm I called and asked to have the tank filled. They said the WON'T deliver until the monitor was below 20%. Jump to today, a day later out tank is at 14%. Will will be out by tomorrow morning. Seems like another good customer will be leaving too. read more

Go here for my refills all the time. Fast service at a good price! I need 85 characters to post, so here are some extra words.

They refused to fill up propane. Absolutely rude customer service. Never gone back to that place. Screw them.

Been going here for years. Good service and friendly employees. Price isn't bad either.

Called at 9:00 a.m. this morning to report a tank that was leaking. I was advised by the Edgely Fire company to call Bruce.......it is now noon and I still have not gotten a return call...and I called them twice. Nice going...and thank you Edgely Fire Company for the not so good tip. Maybe you should think of NOT referring people with leaking propane tanks to Bruce's.....I called Suburban....boom.....tank being taken away....no problem, no angst, no fighting, no bad language....they just said "don't worry, we will take care of it." And the best part....no charge!!! Use Surburban!!!!!! read more

I recently had a brief encounter with Bruce's Propane which was a nightmare. When I called to inquire/set up delivery service the message stated that in spite of the propane shortage, they were pumping away. Great! I left a message. That's where it all came unhinged...the man that returned my call yelled at me on the phone that he could barely service the customers he already had due to the current propane shortage. I explained to him that I had been lugging my tank there for years so in effect I would not be putting a strain on their stock. NOPE! Can't do it. WOW! So I drag my tank over to get it filled. Guy that filled it did not want to hear what I experienced. As a matter of fact he informed me that propane would be going up to $5.00 a gallon the folllowing week due to the shortage. YIKES! Then it dawned on me! I had spoken with GasTec years ago for a regulator. They were still in Levittown at that point. I got smart and made the right call! Eric was a joy to speak with and he answered all of my questions and set me up for the next week. DJ just left after doing the install which took half of the approximated time given! YAY! Here's the icing on my cake......$3.379 a gallon!!! Eat that Bruce's!!! lol THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU GASTEC!!!! read more

I LOVE the guys at Bruce's Propane! It's the only place we get our propane and each time, the service is prompt, friendly and efficient. Even with consistently fluctuating gas prices, they seem to always have the best price in the area. Would highly recommend for filling your propane tanks! read more

I had an encounter with an older, Irish looking driver for Bruce who must REALLY HATE his job- he cursed me out and used some really foul language that I would not yell at someone I don't like, and certainly not at a woman with an infant with her. Its not just disgusting but extremely unprofessional, as well. Not only did i witness this behavior but so did the customer he was servicing and any other potential customers. Apparently the owner can afford to not gain new customers nor keep the ones he has because of the other review i read, as well as the fact that i had contacted the company ASAP and was informed that Bruce would call me back in a few days after he returned to work....yea, that never happened. So here i am letting everyone and anyone know to AVOID this business! They do NOT care about customers or being a professional company!! read more

Great costumer service. Fair and honest pricing. Not sure what the... Intellectual genius above meant about freon. This is a propane company. Assuming she meant Bruce's on route 13 in Levittown. read more

We had experience (bad) with Bruce's car repair ... tried to charge us an enormous price for an AC that only needed freon. Beware!
