Since May 2020, I have regularly been seen by Chiropractor Kate Bruce. She has GREATLY assisted in my recovery from having received a hemorrhagic stroke affecting my right side late in the fall of 2019. Today it's May 2021 (a year later) AND the health difference is AMAZING! Balance issues (some even from before the stroke) have dissipated. My walking gait is almost 100% of what it was before. Mobility has returned to all parts of right side--shoulder, arm, hip, leg, foot. I can again move my right arm freely behind my back unencumbered like my left. My right fist (grib, squeeze, finger stretching) movement is almost fully restored. Ankle flexibility resolved. Praise the LORD! Two separate issues evolved during this past year. One was a sudden increase of pain moving my left thumb. This was totally resolved quickly within a few weeks. The second came January 2021. I severely sprain my right ankle when squatting down. Having limited strength & flexibility EVEN before my stroke, my ankle gave a "pop" sound when the ligaments tore. Thankfully, chiropractic skill successfully treated this injury over the past four months which is also helping other lifelong right toe issues (currently have bunion). Dr Kate Bruce and her staff are....... A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! I started going to her when I was less then half way through my pregnancy. She literally took all the pain away. After I delivered, I immediately started going back. Within 2 visits, I did not feel like I just had a baby 2 wks prior. My baby started seeing her at 6 weeks. Dr Kate improved every single milestone of my baby. Latching, sitting, crawling, eating, pooping, you name it! My husband sees her as well and she helps him greatly with back and shoulder pain. I have also referred my parents and they are hooked. She even extends her hours to see my dad before work! Dr Kate isn't your normal chiropractor. She doesn't say, "i want to see you 3x a week for 6 months." No. Its "let's get you fixed in 2-3 sessions and call when you need me". My mom always warned me about chiropractors that some will make your condition seem worse than what it is. My girl Jessica is my chiropractor and she is gentle and does amazing, she's always so kind to me and my baby! It takes maybe 5-10 minutes. The front desk lady is also very sweet all of them always have a smile on their face, the front desk lady is always greeting people and always bright! I would 10/10 recommend bruce chiropractor there so kind and welcoming, after I gave birth I ended up having sciatica and Jessica has made it almost to the point it is gone! I love this practice and its doctors and staff. I have seen both Dr. Kate and Dr. Jess during my pregnancies to help with all those common aches and pains that come with pregnancy. I always get the relief I need. I love that I can use the online scheduling tool, even on short notice, to get in at a time that works best for me. I'm currently 6 days postpartum and nursing, and I can't schedule appointments in advance because my newborn is feeding on demand. I'm getting a laser treatment on my rotator cuff on my right shoulder. The last time I went and got a treatment was two months ago. The laser treatment is phenomenal. No discomfort but total relief.
