I have had my brows and liner tattooed about 5 times in the last 25 years. I recently moved to…read moreTucson and called around to find a new artist. At my 11/8/14 appointment, I arrived with my brows drawn in so Michelle could see the color and shape I desired. I also had a little color left from the previous tattoo to help her. After one week, I noticed my brows did not take at all. I contacted Michelle and she said "I will take care of you" which I took to mean there would be no charge. But after another call, my assumption was corrected because she charged $50 for a touch-up. I called to confirm my appointment the day before since it was a 50 minute drive for me. I arrived 10 minutes early, and a gal greeted me and said "I will call Michelle and tell her you are here." That seemed odd. A half hour later (20 minutes late for my appt) Michelle arrived with a weak Hi (no apology). I had one brow drawn in with my desired shade, leaving the other brow naked. For some strange reason, Michelle wiped my drawing away. She proceeded to tell me that I was not clear, and tried to sound like she remembered what we discussed. If that were true, why did she not remember my name and had to ask me. She told me to re-draw what I wanted, but it was very difficult to see in her lighting and mirror. Michelle told me I drew it in darker than when I came in. I told her let's go darker because I did not want to come back and pay another $50. While working on me, she scolded me for several minutes. To appease her, I didn't argue, I just wanted to get out of there. Plus she came up with some flimsy excuse why she was late ("it was raining and you know how people drive in the rain"). Um, I drove 50 minutes and was not late. So, here it is exactly a month since that touch-up... not only are my brows too light, but my liner needs a touch-up. I have this touch-up booked with another artist. Blush lost me and 3 of my friends who are looking for a tattoo artist. I honestly believe the reason Michelle's technique does not work is she uses the "hand tap" instrument. Michelle has a lot of growing to do as an artist and business person.

I bought a Groupon for eyeliner ($75) in June 2015. When I called for an appointment, I was told I…read morecouldn't get in until July 18, after the Groupon expired. I set an appointment for 2:00 with some girl and I could hear Michele in the background asking questions; she obviously remembered me from a previous appointment. I put the appointment in my Google calendar as I was talking to her so I'm certain it was the right date. Had to be a Saturday. Yesterday, not having heard a confirmation from them, I called and left a message. A standard recording came on with no business name spoken--obviously never set up--so I left a message asking that they call to verify the appointment. I never heard back and really wasn't sure if the number was correct or if anyone was answering the phone, as my previous experience had been similarly flaky. I liked Michele and figured it was business as usual. Her office is about an hour away from my house, so I left an hour before my appointment, hoping I actually had an appointment but not sure. I got to the address listed above--2604 N. Stone--which really isn't anywhere, and looked her up again on my phone and found the address at 5151 N. Oracle. It would've been nice if the appointment setter had mentioned the address but that would be too professional. Silly me for expecting the number on the web to be correct. 5151 N. Oracle is a small, seedy office building with several offices facing the street, mostly unmarked, and an inside building, some marked, some not, some with blinds closed or falling down. A massage parlor. Not great. Outside is a sign listing the offices in the building. No Blush. My previous appointment had been at Michele's home, so I really didn't know what to do. I called and left another message that I couldn't find them and was heading home. Decided to try one last time and go into the office building and wander around the halls looking for her business. Finally, I turned a corner and found a hand-lettered sign pointing to an office and went in. Inside was one woman lying in a chair and another one talking to Michele, who looked at me questioningly after a few minutes. I introduced myself, even though I'd been to her twice, but she didn't acknowledge that, and told her I was there for my 2:00 appointment. Obviously I wasn't on her calendar. She said she didn't have me on the books (asked me if I'd gotten a confirmation) (which I never got in my two previous appointments either) but would look in to see what had happened. She and the woman continued talking in front of me for another 10 minutes, ignoring me, then they went in a separate room for another 15 minutes or so to talk some more. I went outside to take a call, and when I went back into the office they were still out of sight talking. I got no apology. No explanation. She never came out of the room to acknowledge me. Apparently Michele never even looked in the books. She certainly never got back to me. I left in disgust. The woman in the chair was still there, in the same position. At this point, I am out the cost of the voucher--$75--and disgusted with the whole operation. I have contacted Groupon to complain. I spent two hours out of my Saturday driving to get to my appointment. I spent another 30 minutes waiting to find out when she had me on her schedule. Waste of my time. I could've lived with that if Michele had been courteous and professional, but that was just the icing on the cake. This is not the way to run a business. I don't know what happened to Michele, but this is not the personable, friendly woman who treated her clients courteously and professionally. This was a fiasco. I would not recommend this business to anyone. Buyer beware.

I work in a clean room facility so makeup isn't allowed. Having eyelash extensions gives me the look and confidence without any hassle of getting ready in the morning. I first began on the extension journey when I lived in LA, but in Tucson there wasn't many in Tucson (I tried a few) that could do monolids and make the lashes feel comfortable (not itchy /heavy/goopy). These girls do quality work and I've never had extensions that last as long or feel as light and natural on the eyelids. I also can attest to their facials and specifically derma-planing. Every 4 weeks can't come soon enough and I thoroughly enjoy their service, clean space, and welcoming customer service! Highly beyond highly recommend.

From transitioning from the living room of their parents house to their very own studio, I have seen amazing progress from the lash extensions themselves to the other services that I have also benefited from. They make you feel comfortable from the music they play, to the blanket they provide and neck pillow. You will have the best lash nap of your life. Whatever needs you desire they will fulfill and exceed your expectations. I highly recommend Gwapaesthetics for her facial/lash extension needs.

I would highly recommend Julia at Electric Beauty for any facial permanent tatooing procedure you…read moredecide to have done. Here is why: 2 years ago I had my eyebrows tattooed by a technician in Texas. I needed a touch-up, mainly because I never really liked the end result from the previous technician. So I asked Skin Appeal in Tucson for a referral to a facial tattoo technician and they recommended Julia at Electric Beauty. I made an appointment with Julia and had her re-tattoo my eyebrows and she did a WONDERFUL job! See pic. (If you don't accept the numbing ointment on your eyebrows before the procedure, you will feel tiny scrapes against your skin while the procedure takes place, but its just for an instant & then it goes away quickly). When the procedure was done, she gives you medication and an ointment to put on your eyebrows, and I followed her instructions to a tee. Like I said, I LOVE them. I may go a little thicker next time, but what I have now, I wanted, so the thickness I have now wasn't Julia's idea. Then, today, even though I was apprehensive, I decided to go ahead and have her tattoo my top eye lid, with black liner. The procedure did sting a little, because again, I didn't want to be numbed, but after the procedure was done, I was fine. She said the swelling will be 2 days. I'm excited! and I can't wait to see the final result. I have my re-check and liner touch up on 4-2-22, so Ill update my review after that, with a photo.

Julia is a customer service QUEEN and took all the extra precautions to keep everything safe and clean which is a big YES in my book. Julia took note of the aesthetics I like just by talking to me in a really nice conversation. Julia has extensive knowledge of her craft and talked me through the process of getting her (Electric Brow Special) which is Brow Shaping , Henna Tint, and a Brow Lamination. Electric Beauty is in a fun and quirky space that fit Julia and her wonderful energy. Thank you Julia for making me feel like a Disney princess and totally making me feel absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I can't wait to come back. Cheers.
