Three weeks ago I finally got up the courage to take the microblading plunge. I had been toying with the idea for about a year but was scared to trust a complete stranger with semi-permanent make-up on my face. I researched and happened across Brows by Isabel. After reading her 5 star reviews on Yelp, I went to her website, and just had a gut feeling that Isabel was the one. And I'm really glad I went with my intuition. From day one (not exaggerating), I've been happy with my new brows. As soon as I walked in to her studio, I felt at ease, especially seeing how clean it was. The first thing she does is explained the process and draw out the shape. After watching her draw out my brows, I immediately knew that she is an artist, with a perfectionist flare. The shape was perfect. The actual process isn't painless but it definitely wasn't painful. I'd honestly say the pain level was only a 3 out of 10. I'd probably guess that the pain level had to do with a combination of her numbing process and her friendly yet confident demeanor (which put me at ease). And when Isabel was done, I looked in the mirror and couldn't believe how magnificent my brows looked! As expected (from reading multiple microblading blogs), my brows were super dark but they looked great. The shape was amazing. I waited to write this review in case something changed.
