Wow! We ate here because of the positive reviews and were not disappointed! The steak was amazing. The mashed potatoes were the best I've ever eaten. The fish tacos were very tasty. And the spinach salad was perfect. The employees went above and beyond to answer our questions and were very friendly. It was obvious that they not only enjoy working here but are also very proud of the food they serve. I would not have noticed this restaurant just by driving past, but SO glad to have found it. Brown Bag is a 1 stop shop for all your healthy needs.Great for catering needs and very friendly and accommodating. You have to try everything but my favorite items are the grilled chicken, mixed veggies and the mashed potatoes are AWESOME!!!. I haven't ate lunch yet but I am to try real soon. read more

I love this place!!! First time here!!! I had the fish tacos and jalapeño corn casserole!!!! The tacos were fresh with lots of flavor and the casserole had a nice bite!!!! Not impressed! Heard a lot of great things about the place. Decided to give it a try. Found value for price paid pretty poor. I ordered the fish tacos with two sides and found the portion size pretty sad. Delivered on cheap paper plates. Seems to go against the "purpose" piece of their slogan. I got about 4-5 small baby asparagus and probably a half cup of grilled veggies. Fish tacos only filled a quarter of the tortilla. I added on a watermelon salad in fear I wouldn't have enough food. I was correct in my fears. All for $13.50 with tax. I don't get the hype. Overall, food tastes good and fresh. But it wasn't rocket science recipes here -- grilled, simple with basic approach. Can I say this is the best caterer I have worked with? The communication is easy, food is fresh, delicious, and price is reasonable. They are always on time and don't forget things. At one luncheon, the nurses were looking up the menu so they could eat at the restaurant after work or on the weekend.. Which shows just how good the food is. read more

This place is awesome! It's fast. It's fresh. It's tasty. Everything is great. Although the banana pudding could use some more tweaking. Everything else is amazing! Went in search of an alternative to the boring sandwich option for a small business meeting and discovered this place. It was excellent, easy to order and cost effective. More importantly, the food is healthy, flavorful, and delicious. All my guests enjoyed the options I selected (the classic menu), minus the green beans. But, overall the food was great, arrived right on time, set up for me and they even brought a bag of ice (make sure to have your own bowl for serving). Brown bag is incredible!!! We used them for a 3 day event with 3 different dinners provided: BBQ for our volunteers the first day, Classic chicken for 350+ women the second day, and fajitas for 100 people the last day. I came here on a whim one day and boy am I glad I did! This place is phenomenal! After the first visit about a month ago I've made a stop in for lunch at least 2 or 3 times a week. After all those visits I've been able to try most of the menu and it is all delicious! Not only is the food great, but the staff is always welcoming, friendly, and seem to be genuinely happy to be there. Lunch stop on the way through TN. What a find, a healthy and yummy alternative to 'travel food'. The food was fresh; southwest salad and baby spinach with grilled chicken breast. One of the best spinach salads I have ever had. Portion size was perfect and very filling. Service staff were helpful and very friendly. Chicken was a tiny bit dry only reason for the 4 vs 5 rating. Excellent food. Had the cheese steak sandwich with sauteed veggies and mashed potatoes. Cheese steak was a little different, was steak strips rather than super thin/ shaved beef, but was extremely tender, had been marinated in a teriyaki-like marinade. No fat or tough strips, easy bites and delicious. read more
