Liz was responsive via both email and phone, and was easy to communicate with. She confirmed when the trapping was successful and even sent pictures to show that the cat was safe and taken care of. I really appreciate her continued communication, especially since I don't even live in Florida and wouldn't otherwise have a way to check in on this. I believe she is running this on her own so if there is any delay in response, have some patience. Working in non-profit animal rescue is no simple task. Liz clearly has a love for cats and wants to help as many as she can.

They gave us a list of places to choose from and we picked Scarbrough Animal Hospital based on the vet assistant's recommendation. I called the same day, explained the situation and I was given an appointment for the very next day. I had the presence of mind not to feed my baby in case they needed to put him under. I was seen right away. Treated with compassion and respect. In the end my dog needed 13 extractions due to an infection, he also bites the corner of the wall and caused a lot of damage to his teeth in the process. I left him there at 10:30 am and he was ready to be picked up at 5:30 pm. They also explained everything in much detail, and even called me the following morning to check on him. It wasn't inexpensive, we paid almost $2500. I can't say whether they are priced competitively or not, but my dog and I were treated right. I highly recommend

Usually if I go away for a couple of days I have no problem leaving extra food out and extra litter boxes about but 12 days was just too much to leave them on their own. I searched the Internet for a long time before I found Amy's doggies. I met with her and felt very comfortable almost immediately. We spoke about my pets and my pets needs I'm was confident she would take great care. While I was away she sent pictures every day to show how the pets were doing and I have a very skittish cat that I expected would not come out, however to my great surprise she got her to come out. The kennels were fairly roomy and quiet, since there are no dogs barking, etc. Connie lets each cat out for a little bit so they aren't confined all of the time. The quiet atmosphere is definitely good to keep the cats from getting more stressed out than they already are after a long drive. Dr. Berrios and his team are so wonderful. It feels like a family vet versus others I've had over the years where they price gauge you for the smallest needs. Their pricing is very reasonable for the suite of services they offer, in fact the best I've seen in my 16yrs of having animals. One for my male cat who landed incorrectly and broke his back foot and recent I went here under an emergency after my newly spayed Kitty developed a Seroma that quickly became infected. It's important to mention my cat was NOT spayed at this location but at a cat clinic. The girl who answered immediately had me text over images to Dr Berrios and within minutes he answered. The following days after visiting and getting treatment not only did the front desk girls call me to follow up on my baby but so did Dr Berrios. He took time out of his personal life to text me and make sure everything was okay just as they had done the first time with my male cat. My cat is since then recovering well. I cannot be more grateful for this office.
