It is rather large, they do serve beer, which I find always makes an event that much better, and the fields seemed pretty clean and well kept. The stadium itself though has not had any refurbishments and does seem a little dated in spots, but overall for an outdoor event, I think it is perfect. It has amble parking spots too which is nice for someone who gets anxiety about where to park in Wilmington.

You can actually walk completely around this track. You have the option of sitting in the stands or bringing your own chair and sitting in the grass or on the walkway on the back stretch. They have your typical race track food & beer. For $15 you get 6 races. Unknown to me, NASCAR legend Bobby Labonte was running the special modified race and that drew a big crowd. If you want to feel, hear and smell racing a local track like Carteret is the place for you.

The people make this a terrific experience. You feel so welcomed and are thanked numerous times for coming. There are beaches and regular stadium seats. There's also suites available there are 2 covered areas which are awesome. Wish they had industrial fans up on the poles (high enough up to not block views - so doable) to help with the heat. Lots of refreshments and options for snacks/foods. Very reasonable prices and food is good quality. Had hot dog and popcorn (it was fresh). They do have. Bat beer container for $25 (see pic). Ticket prices are absolutely reasonable for the game! Great way to have a family night out without breaking the bank or even an adult/date night. Great games held between innings for kids and adults. My favorite was the husband and wife tossing toilet seats. Also several chances to catch t-shirts, fly swatters and peanuts. The peanuts are worth the price and from Dublin, NC! The Miller lite liberty lounge is probably worth the extra $6 for free popcorn, peanuts and soda, plus $1 dogs, burgers and beers. Wine only $2. Not the best seats located in left field, but close to outfield action. Maybe next time. We will be back! Well maintained field, comfortable seating as far as ball parks go--could use a cup holder on each box seat. Clean restrooms and a patriotic crowd, free of bad sports on this night. We were two of the few (if any) Morehead Marlin fans in the stadium and we won. Love the history of the league and that players now can't be paid (college athletes) but cone from all over the country to play ball all summer while living with a host family. The seats had backs (not bleachers) and we were about three rows up from behind home plate. We bought our tickets via phone and had no wait time. The line to buy tickets was incredibly long. I recommend buying in advance. As mentioned by other reviewers, parking is free but a mess. However, they allow you to park along the road and pretty much anywhere. I am fine w/ that, but we left before the game ended, so no issues getting out. Concessions are pricey, but that's to be expected. It's cash only, but there is an ATM. Bring enough cash so you don't have to wait in two lines. Concessions had a decent selection of junk food (chicken fingers, fries, pizza, nachos, cotton candy) and beer. Eat before you come if you want a real meal or something healthy. The place is family friendly and had numerous events for kids throughout the game. I will note it is the first place I have been in a "crowd" in Fayetteville that the police were not out in force. Which is nice for once - not a hit on the police - rather the usually Fayetteville event DOES require police presence. Enjoyable evening and we will return!

This is located behind the Myrtle Beach convention Center, and according to the ticket agent in the parking lot, it is also merged with it, meaning that some events can also be in this sports center. There is a $5.00 parking fee, all day. it is walkable and easy to get around. There was no admission fee for this event, which is good. Basically we walked around a gym, but it made room for tons of art and craft vendors-- and i even brought an ornament for my new tree! Plenty of room to walk around and for vendors. Also went to the restroom, which was clean, and easy to find in correlation to where the arts and crafts were. We also saw tons of bleachers, and volleyball nets in the other gym while we were looking for the bathrooms- so they have mostly sporting events here i would guess. I was a little surprised to find that this park was not listed on Yelp yet. It's been around for a…read morewhile. The park is located in The Bottom neighborhood in Downtown Wilmington. The city lists it as 401 S. 8th Street, but the park borders S. 10th, Ann and S. 8th Streets. Quick Summary - It's a city park - One Pavilion - Baseball field that also used as a soccer field - There is a swimming pool - Several tennis courts that are also used for pickle ball - One playground area for kids - Very large open field Additional information The park is in an up and coming area. It's safe to visit but I would probably not hang out after dark. Dogs are allowed but not in the tennis courts or ball fields. No doggy poop bag stations so bring your own bag. The large field has lots of ant mounds so keep that in mind while you are walking across it. Not sure if the city tries to control the ants or not. They will bite your ankles if you let them. Every now and then a few jack wagons will ride their dirt bikes and 4 wheelers through the park, so watch out for that. You also get a lot of litter along the sidewalk on Ann Street from pedestrians and passing cares. Some folks just give a crap.
