I went to the Brooks Brothers store in Cancun at the La Isla ShoppingCenter in the Hotel Zone , & bought my husband a pair of pants for his birthday. The pants come unhemmed, so they can be hemmed for each individual customer. When I returned with my husband, I found out they do not have a tailor! I then asked for a refund, & I was told they could not credit my credit card, the system did not allow it. They were also not able to give me cash back either! I had the receipt from the original sale with me, & was not able to get ANY kind of money back for an unhemmed pair of pants! I was told I could exchange for another item of equal or greater value. What I wanted was a pair of Brooks Brothers pants for my husband to wear for his birthday dinner! I left the store with an unhemmed pair of pants to take home to California & have hemmed at a REAL Brooks Brothers in San Francisco. This store looks like a Brooks Brothers, but by no means does it have any of the services or infrastructure that is expected of a REAL Brooks Brothers. I am deeply disappointed that this entire experience wasted my vacation time, the reason for my purchase & that Brooks Brothers has sold out its good name to a unchecked franchise. read more
