He is, without a doubt, the most patient, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented realtor I've ever worked with (and just a lovely person to boot). Roman took the time to truly understand what we were looking for and worked tirelessly to ensure that every option aligned with our needs. He made us feel comfortable and confident at every step - always listening, answering questions with care, and offering practical advice when viewing apartments. When we finally found *our* apartment, he was with us every step of the way, helping us assemble an outstanding team of professionals who made the process seamless. He expertly managed the complex coop application, ensuring that we felt completely organized and prepared at each stage. Having him in our corner when we encountered roadblocks or issues, made the overwhelming moments feel far more manageable. We are incredibly grateful for his guidance in helping us find our forever home and for the team he built around us. I wholeheartedly recommend Roman to anyone searching for an apartment or home (and have already done so multiple times). Do yourself a favor--work with Roman!

I had a very negative experience with Josh Palace, as have others here. Early this month, I…read morescheduled a tour for a suspiciously cheap studio apartment near Prospect Park. Josh confirmed the tour time and asked that I text him when I was on my way. The day came, I texted Josh, and drove an hour from Long Island to the apartment. When I arrived at the scheduled time, Josh texted and asked if we could reschedule. I was shocked and tried to call him. He ignored multiple calls before eventually picking up. He was incredibly non-apologetic over the phone. Eventually, he told me that he wasn't sure if he had locked the apartment door from a tour days ago (??) and that we could try the handle. We were thus able to enter the apartment -- his lack of regard for safety was obvious. On top of all this, he asked for a significant broker's fee should we rent. Despite failing to even show us the apartment! Once I returned home, I looked up the property and saw it had an extensive list of health and safety violations -- more than any apartment I've ever seen. The apartment was also on the market for an entire week, despite being a cheap option in a good location. It is my belief that Mr. Palace, who charges a fee for every application (which is completely illegal, by the way), attempts to squeeze out as many fees from as many people as possible before accepting a deal. Long story short, I will be avoiding Brick and Galo and so should you. Their too-good-to-be-true listings are just that. Josh Palace is not to be trusted.

We enjoyed our apartment, but then Zealestate broker (Omar Saeed Butt) worked with our landlord to jack up prices in the final years. The tactics were bold and stressful. On multiple occasions Omar would come to our apartment after 11PM and tell us we would need to pay more. He would stand in our kitchen and rant for 30+ minutes about how he knew Mayor Adams and cared about us. These were intimidating and unnecessary. This is during our active lease! When we eventually left to buy our own place, Omar got involved with the landlord and they withheld a reference until we agreed to give them additional money beyond forfeiting our deposit and moving out weeks early. I typically don't leave reviews like this, but anyone considering working with Omar/Zealestate should think twice.

I can not advocate enough to not trust him as he operates in bad faith while faking the slightest facade of transparency.

Several other brokers said it would be difficult, perhaps impossible, to sell then and suggested I wait until Spring. Zats had a photographer taking pictures the day after I signed the selling agreement and held an open house about 7 days later. He held two other open houses and I had multiple bids in 18 days. I especially appreciated that he called me on almost every one of those 18 days to update me on what had happened that day with my apartment. Zats had a strategy for selling the apartment, he executed that strategy and effctively communicated what he was doing to me. And key to this very successful sale is that he worked extremely hard.

It takes a matter of seconds to email me back to let me know, but instead I have to hunt you down, and somehow you think that you deserve a FIFTEEN PERCENT BROKER FEE FOR THE ANNUAL RENT??? Actually unreal. What an embarrassment to the Brooklyn Heights Real Estate name. Not interested in any other listings they may have had for me instead now.
