Horrible experience! I contacted this office as we were looking for a simple notary for documents…read moreon a out of province property sale. We had 9 business days to close this deal and I informed them of that. They said to have the documents emailed to them and they would get back to me with an estimated cost and to actually see if they had time to complete it in that time frame. I followed up the next day and they said they had received them and would get back to us to arrange an appointment to sign off on the papers. My wife followed up three days later on a Friday and they said (in a negative tone), as explained to us days ago they would be contacting us and they would call the following Monday. Monday came and went with no phone call. We followed up on Tuesday and the girl in a condescending tone said she would call us back in 15min. Over an hour went by and she never phoned back. My wife contacted again and in a rude tone she stated how busy they were, how it was their month end and all our phone calls were just slowing her down. She tried to again tell my wife she would call us back when I took over the call. I said we had two days to close this deal and I wanted a confirmed appointment. She said she couldn't give me one and would have to call me back. I explained I had lost all confidence in them as they had never once made an attempt to call us back for a appointment date and time in 7 days. I had to argue for an appointment, and after she put me on hold came back with an appointment and a cost price of $380. I accepted, thanked her, hung up and decided to call around. Two different offices said they couldn't take us on as they were too busy but they gave us other lawyers phone numbers to try. We found one that would take us the next day for $175. All the other offices also had quotes from $175-$185 and not $380 like Lisa Denham Law Office. I emailed to cancel our appointment to their general office email and also CC'd Lisa Denham directly to explain my disappointment with the staff at her office. I never received an email back from her or anyone at her office. I suggest contacting any other lawyer and not this one. Not reliable, too expensive and no respect for potential clients.

I cannot express enough the reassurance and relief Mr. Ross and his team provided me throughout this entire experience. To finally have the weight of this case lifted off my chest is a surreal feeling. When this all started, I was at such a loss for what to do. I was truly at my lowest and felt abused by a system that was meant to be in place to protect me. Mr. Ross not only provided me and my family with confidence, but the pathway to treatment that drastically improved my quality of life every day. This is extremely corny, but Kidston was my 'shining light' in my darkest of days. I will forever be thankful and appreciative to Mr. Ross and his team.
