The property is partially assisted and non assisted living at a high price. The area around the building unsafe for seniors either cracked and broken driveway and steps. Safety precautions are not marked by signs or alerts or minor repairs done to ensure seniors do not fall. The step up into the building is not flagged with bright yellow paint or signage to say step up!!! Nobody wants to hear repairs are coming and you risk being sued for falls and injuries you have been informed about. People are located in Haslette, Michigan tripping and falling and the long story that repairs are coming is unacceptable . Get some yellow safety paint to paint bright paint on curbs and step up to another level and note areas on different levels, put cones over broken concrete. People pay high rent and deserve a safe environment. read more

I have visited several times over past few months, specifically on memory care side. Fantastic attention to the residents and so nice to everyone. I've seen clean rooms and facility, good food, and fun activities. Highly recommend and good value for price. read more

if you are thinking of signing up your loved one for Brookdale, Troy, know the following. Source is an aging friend; Housekeeping is supposed to come and clean weekly but they don't. Physicians are supposed to be available but ask and you may wait several days. Staff may deliver food to your bedside but they may take hours to retrieve your dirty dishes. Most of the staff are nice people but for what you're paying, this place is not delivering. read more

This place is so messed up. The caregivers who actually care are let go after requesting leave for health issues when denied the paid sick leave. Then told that you need to work but fired for putting yourself and residents at risk. I worked so many hours of overtime and ended up suffering from burn out among my other health issues, yet admitted to the supervisor that I needed the time off to heal. I never did fully get back to where I needed to be and they let me go because of it, when it was hard to admit in the first place. The drama and favoritism are just going to stress the workers out and there are so many caregivers that cut corners and don't do things properly, yet point fingers. read more

Brookdale Senior Living Community located on Marsh Road in Haslett, Michigan, gets my stars for its knowledgeable and compassionate staff. In my opinion, the facilities are first class. Each resident's room comes fully furnished with a separate bathroom that includes a built in storage closet! My mother and I met with the executive director, sales director, activities coordinator, and the health care manager. They each provided detailed information about their services. A tour was conducted and my mother fell in love with the place, and a particular bedroom. Needless to say, the ball got rolling and soon my mother will be joining Brookdale Senior Living.....I have every reason to believe she will be happy there. read more
