Pros: All RV spots are pull through Hook ups are available on both sides so you can choose which way you face. Park itself of quiet Clean restrooms and showers Nice staff Cons: It was kind of tight getting in and out of the spot we had. Mostly because of our neighbors vehicles You can hear the traffic from the street Airplanes fly over all day (not really a big deal in my opinion, but another family I met there complained about it) Jacuzzi didn't get very hot, it was more like like warm bath water. There was a sign that said the jets were off until the 19th.. as of the 20th & 21st they still weren't working. Pool isn't heated, but that didn't stop our kids. Empty market. Also, their flyer advertises continental breakfast but it's actually only tea and coffee Would I stay here again? Maybe during the fair since it's conveniently located across the street..

We got to see bunnies, rabbits, turtles, and so many different types of birds. It was such a peaceful and beautiful experience being surrounded by nature. I definitely recommend coming here if you love nature and wildlife!

Claremont, CA This…read morebotanic garden has grown on me. There are so many varieties of California native plants and they do have a nursery that is usually open a few days a week but is closed for Summer and reopening in October, 2026. What I love about this property is the sprawling amount of walkway to take a nice walk. You'll find enough shade along the way but many parts are not shaded. The pathways are decomposed granite, concrete and or asphalt so it's like hiking in nature but without the dirt road or elevation gain. I also really love that it's not crowded here. It's also smack dab in the middle of nature so you will occasionally see wild animal poop on a path, cracks that have not been repaired, but none of that really bothers me. There are plenty of benches along the path and a restroom on one side of the property so plan accordingly. They used to have a nice gift shop here and novelties like hats, t shirts, children's toys, books are now displayed in a small outdoor kiosk near to where you check in. California Botanic Garden is a member of the American Horticultural Network of Gardens (AHS). So if you have an annual membership at one of the participating Gardens associated with AHS Gardens you automatically have access to visit all of the gardens in network, unlimited visits for no additional charge. It is nice being a member at one garden and having access to visit hundreds of gardens. Currently, 380 gardens participate in this Network throughout parts of United States and Territories of U.S.A., Canada, and Cayman Islands. https://ahsgardening.org/ahs-garden-network/ I copy and pasted the exerpt below from AI but it has been a treat to see the blooms and how they change color, specifically Native California Buckwheat which can be seen along many hills and roadsides in California. To observe how the plant changes and matures in different seasons is quite fascinating: "Native California Buckwheat flowers start out white (or pale pink/creamy) and transition through shades of orange, cinnamon, rust, and deep red-brown as they age and dry out into summer and fall. Flower Color Changes Fresh Blooms (Spring): Tiny clusters open up as bright, clean white or pale pink. Aging and Drying (Summer): As the weather heats up and soil dries, the petals shift into rusty orange, copper, and tan. Late Season (Fall/Winter): The spent flower heads mature into deep rust-red and chocolate brown tones across the hillsides." I truly enjoy seeing the change of colors on each visit, they are so bright and vibrant! Look for it, and you will find a lot of beauty in the varied California native plant foliage and blooms on this property. Visiting seasonally gives the best picture. For example, The 1000's of large Matilija poppies which resemble a crinkly giant sunny side up egg just finished peak bloom a few months ago. They will be back!

As someone who travels extensively & has been to many pools, in many states with my kid, this was…read morehands down the worst! Went for the recreation swimming, complete waste of time & money, thankfully it was only $5, so not much money wasted. Swimming facilities are ok, nothing special. But if your young child can't swim yet, don't even bother wasting your time. They micromanage you with a bunch of rules. No life jackets allowed which is INSANE. Front desk lady tried to gaslight me & say that's a normal policy in most places which it is NOT. She needs to get out more. I've been all across the country & not one other places I've been to has ever had that rule, in fact it's the opposite in most places--non-swimmers are REQUIRED to wear them. So basically my kid couldn't do anything but sit there hanging on the edge of the pool. I tried to walk around the pool with her on my back, again, like I do everywhere else & they said I can't do that either. I couldn't swim cuz I had to watch my child at all times just hanging on the edge of the pool. Not fun at all. Locked rooms are only 18+, so couldn't use that either cuz my kid is with me. Just a bunch of pointless weird rules & micromanaging that doesn't exist anywhere else I've ever seen. Save your money & time & go somewhere else. We ended up just going to raging waters where we have season passes, she can wear life jackets allowed, & we have way more fun.

Or bring your bike. You can also hike or stroll around the park and take in the wildlife. The wild geese, ducks, birds, squirrels, lizards, and small fish are fun to watch. Just don't feed them, per the signs posted around the area. However, humans can pack a picnic and lounge the day away. Admission per vehicle is $15/day and you have in/out privileges all day long. Special events like concerts, triathlons, and fishing tournaments happen here so check out the calendar on their website. Also, Bonelli Regional Park has Overnight Family Camping on the second Friday of June, July, and August so mark your calendars. We did, but this summer escaped us. We'll be putting that on our bucket list for 2027. Also, you can horseback ride and the Equestrian Center is at the back side of the park. NOTE: Regional Parks are closed Mondays & Tuesdays. Parking was $15/car and you have access in/out all day long.

What a beautiful park with so many varied areas to recreate!…read more I have to admit, I do wish it was limited to unmotorized boats, other than the Lifeguards. It's so peaceful to be near or out on the water with people using row boats, kayaks, paddle boards, peddle boats, fishing etc. But then you get a speedboat or jet ski blaring back and forth in this little strip area. I'm not sure why that would even be fun in such a confined area. Anyway, I don't recommend it for motorized boats. Too small. But often it's quiet and peaceful there. They have a bird wetland/marsh habitat area at the southeast end of the lake with all kinds of beautiful water birds. The bird watching there is amazing. You even sometimes see Bald Eagles. Many families have parties there and stroll the grounds on the weekend. Perfect for people who don't have yards and want to come and relax on the grass and picnic on the weekend. I recommend anyone in the area that uses the park often get a yearly membership and support this great resource of ours!

They make the class fun with singing, games, and toys so that students get used to the environment and feel comfortable with each other. But it doesn't stop there; they also incorporate one to two skills per class, and my daughter has a lot of fun (which to us was the most important part). The swim classes run for 30 minutes each session, and that is a good amount of time for a 3-year-old's attention span. Prices are also pretty fair; $65 for 2 weeks (for residents), and they run Monday through Friday for a group class. The class had 7 kids with 2 swim instructors, and I was glad to see them co-teach. Parents and family members can sit on the shaded area and watch their kids learn how to swim. They also have multiple life guards watching the area so we feel pretty safe with the kids in the pool. I also see other higher level classes going on as well as the private one-on-one swim lessons. I only wish I knew about the registration times earlier on so I can sign up for multiple sessions in the summer. Registrations begin as early as May and I didn't sign up until July. Now I know for next year! Definitely coming back again.
