Imagine a French café with zero conversation, no laughter, no sociability. Granted, the coffee is ok, but there are many more cafés in Toulouse with coffee just as good, and better ambiance. So if your idea of an amusing café is to remain isolated in the lonely silence of your own little electronic world, welcome! But me, I'll never go there again.

They have WiFi, and other people are on their laptops working here, so it's a great place to come and get some work done. There are a lot of people just chatting here too, so it's not super quiet in here if you need a lot of silence to get work done (or just bring a pair of headphones). They serve salads and tartines here (but I have yet to try the savory food) and they are reasonably priced. I tried the leopard gateau and it was delicious - I had a similar pastry in Paris at Cyril Lignac and loved it -- I was looking for it all over in Toulouse and I've finally found it. If you love almond and chocolate, it's the perfect dessert/snack, and not too expensive at 2€. They have a wide selection of teas as well, and 4-5 choices of little cakes/sweets.
