I believe that Icon Realty was involved in hacking my bank account. I leased an apartment in the heart of las olas/Fort Lauderdale from December 2016, from Atlantic loft llc. I agreed to pay a 2 month security deposit of $2400 as well as first, last and security (pretty standard) got my key, etcétera. After 2 different companies handling our property, ICON Realty came in January 2020 and revamped property by implementing a ***online payment service ***** aka , a way to get into your bank account. I questioned who this is and why I had to use this system to pay, not only to be replied with "It is our new system and you have to use it, you must pay rent this way or consult your attorney" As I went ahead and used it but decided to not renew my upcoming ending lease of 3/30/20. I emailed, texted and explain that I would not be renewing the lease because not only I don't trust the payment system, I had a very difficult time communicating with Benjamin (who by the way runs the whole thing). He ignored all my calls and the ones he replied, he did very rudely. I promptly moved out on schedule and handed him the keys along with my original lease agreement. He took the keys and said that He did not have a refund and I would need to wait 30 days to receive one on the mail. Now 30 days later. My bank account has been HACKED and bank investigated the multiple charges leading back to that January rent payment. I have been getting random withdrawals from different wiring entities totaling over 1k so far. Due to covid19, I can not yet file a claim in court. And the reason I am writing this is to WARN tenants and landlords about companies like this! I am attaching the refund check I just received. What a joke! See you in court.

4 stars because of their beach access and depending upon what you want and for how long. Basically…read morea motel but some rooms are owned so they are called condominiums. I lived here for a few months. Holiday weekends are extremely busy. Mid-week is usually pretty quiet. They will rent month to month for just over 1K, so for some people this is an awesome option because of the unprecedented beach access combined with low cost. If you are just staying someplace for the weekend, I might suggest paying some extra cash to get into one of the luxury high rise condo/hotel buildings that are along this part of the beach (Donald Trump has 5 high rises along this road). Positives - beach access, private tiki huts on the beach, grills on patio overlooking ocean. Negatives - Cigarette butts all over the private section of the beach (about 10 yards onto beach where the tiki huts are.) There are thousands of butts in the sand, its not just like they forgot to clean them up one weekend. Most units are 240 sq ft so very small. No internet access. If you are staying more than 1 month, expect mold on some things from the moist environment. Overall... One of the best deals in Miami because of the beach access. Forget all of the negatives if you value peaceful walks on the beach at night.
