All blown away while feeling like I'm on vacation somewhere. The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor dining area. We saw outdoors as it is heavily shaded. We were able to watch people golf at a safe distance while enjoying the outdoors weather. The menu here is actually quite extensive. I tried a few items. I thought everything was good except the fish tacos. I've had better. The fish were too large for tacos and too dry even with using the salsa / sour cream it came with. The french onion soup was my favorite part of my meal but I also enjoyed their hot dog with chips. Last, they provided my son cookies free of charge! I would definitely come back and try their dinner menu.

I can't believe how heartless and cruel you have to be to single-handedly ruin someone's wedding just for fun. How hard is it to give people a heads up? Wouldn't recommend trying to have a wedding here under any circumstances. Chances are they will cancel your wedding two weeks before the ceremony. Shame on y'all.

All I can say is WOW. I've played countless private clubs and for one that is situated within complex of homes this one ranks up there with the best of them. Considering that the track is laid out through homes and property, its proximity to such homes and the utilization of the land to make it expansive and wide open they did a marvelous job. The fairways, greens, bunkers & tee boxes were all meticulous to the point you thought you were in Disney world with not anything out of place. Range and practice facility were top notch and staff was friendly & courteous. If you get the opportunity to play here run don't walk!

We attended a 75th birthday celebration brunch here for a cousin. We expected a meal with a few…read morefriends and family in their restaurant, but were very mistaken. It ended up being a wonderful buffet brunch in the club's catering facilities. Now normally, I wouldn't review a caterer, but this was done by the restaurant folks, and I believe their quality and attention to detail would carry over to their restaurant. Yes, it was a pretty big affair, nearly 80 folks, and there were five food stations, but it was the overall quality and supervision, that was key for my enthusiasm. A carving station, which honestly, I did not try, but it sure looked good! The omelet station had two chefs that were prepared for not on,y omelets with whole eggs, egg beaters, or egg whites, they also would do fried eggs if requested. And cooked perfectly, at least to my standards. There was a bread/pastry/desert station that I tried (and almost succeeded) to avoid, and a standard steam table buffet area that had French toast, bacon (cooked perfectly, btw), sausage, potatoes, etc. But the best part was a smoked fish/bagel station, with all those wonderful things you see at the Jewish deli store. Smoked salmon, whitefish (the whole fish, 2 actually), sturgeon, sable, and all the fix'ins. Not only was it plentiful, but of a very high quality. Having grown up in the NY metro area most of my life, I am confident that I know quality smoked fish when I see it, and this was superb! The serving staff was also top-notch. It seemed there was one dedicated individual with overall responsibility for the party, with two other supervisors who kept a keen eye on the less experienced, but very attentive, staff. Glasses were always kept filled, and used plates promptly removed. Overall, very well done.

I started with a great Grey Goose Cosmo and a Caesar salad, followed by the branzino, ordered without garlic, with broccoli rabe and asparagus. Everything was absolutely delicious! Next time, I'd love to arrive by boat -- that would make the experience even more special! A beautiful place, delicious food, and a wonderful time. We can't wait to return!

Unfortunately, the food was not up to that standard: The lamb chops, although tasty, were all fat. The salmon was over cooked and tasteless. The evening special, blackened filet mignon, was excellent. However, the accompanying pasta was overcooked and the sauce too intense for the steak. Our salads and soups were good - the salads fresh and crispy and the vegetables accompanying the gazpacho fresh and perfectly minced. Unfortunately, the service was indifferent - and poor. That should not happen at a private club.

We had planned on going there for games afterward anyway. I didn't play any of the games, but I must say we were VERY impressed with the reception staff, wait staff, and food. They were kind do us and very attentive. There was a lot more on the menu than I had originally thought. I had the Chicken Caesar Wrap with the Jersey fries, and they were both very yummy. The thin-crust pizzas had a great crunch, spicy marinara, good cheese, and a nice char if you like that sort of thing. The kids enjoyed the quesadillas and mozzarella sticks. My husband enjoyed the wings, though he would have liked more sauce. You DO need to pay to park, but that is to be expected in that high-traffic location in Delray. I was surprised it was only $4.75 for two hours. We would definitely return to Silverball if we're in the area and want to grab cocktails and good quality bar food.
