From our understanding, the chef makes the desserts and we are so glad we tried it. My husband originally wanted Carrot Cake, but when he saw the table next to us get the cheesecake, he went for that. I'm sure the other desserts were very good too. The one thing I wish they really had were homemade salad dressings. I do not like bottled dressings and so I ordered my salad without one. It was okay, but clearly not my favorite. The chef was very personable and came out to see us. They asked if our meats were prepared properly and for us to let them know by cutting into them as soon as they were delivered. The waitstaff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We plan on going again and have started sharing this with our friends!
