Prague has several big grand and historical theaters hosting world class concerts and live shows...
Broadway Theater is NOT one of those epic theaters. Being a tourist, I had no idea, but weeks in advance I purchased a ticket for "The Best of Swan Lake", an abbreviated Swan Lake but still almost 2 hours. The theater is underground, medium sized, and felt like a throwback to the 1990s. The main areas were nice, but the seats and theater seemed like I was a college campus theater. The show itself was just okay...the corps ballerinas weren't quite ever sync with each other. The stage was rather small for a production of Swan Lake, so I felt sorry for all of them. The principals playing Odette and the Prince were very good, excellent technique and musicality. For only 850CZK/$38 I can't really complain, but I'll probably avoid this theater in the future...it's not the creme de la creme of Prague Theater. read more
