I attended the U2 cover band's performance in Sept 2023. They are Unforgettable Fire. It was fantastic. I had front row seating and the sound was perfect. The band was experienced and really got the crowd into the concert experience. A big sing along and dancing night. The venue was great, the staff very friendly. The line for drinks looked long but moved very fast. Everyone appeared to be enjoying the performance and this fantastic venue. read more

Great little gem of a venue. They offer parking behind, or park on street. Was there to see Unforgettable Fire, a U2 tribute band. Capacity small and intimate. Sound is decent, not too loud. Line at bar can be a tad long at times. Decent drink choices, esp. beer offerings, mostly in cans. read more

Horrible sound. They re-did the room, but doesn't seem they upgraded the sound system to match the room, which is ironic since the venue went from theater performances to live music. And, I understand the new owners are so difficult to work with. Nice try. read more

BROAD BROOK OPERA HOUSE is a fabulous venue! I went to see my first live music show last night featuring Siskia Laroo Band and Glenn Roth. Both acts were excellent! Seeing the building is worth the trip alone!! The Timber Room, where the shows are held, is amazing, with it original wood beam rafters exposed. The well thought out lighting makes the room glow with a warm beauty. The staff was friendly, helpful and full of energy! Warm just popped popcorn(and it's free) is waiting for you as you enter the room to get your night started. Fun food and adult beverages are available to purchase. We had pizza!! It's a great night out! We had so much fun!! We are looking at the upcoming events to make plans for our next visit! read more
