Every time we go to PEI on our road trip, we always stop by here. It's a classic! Last time we had…read morefish and chips at the restaurant in the village, but the entire Village has changed owners since. When we went this time, the restaurant and its entire menu changed - though the newly renovated place is still as beautiful and nostalgic as ever! The restaurant is larger and newer, but the prices are also higher. A nice touch was the fact that they served some complimentary kettle cooked chips, which were delightfully addictive and crunchy. I got the lobster roll with a side of tomato soup, and the duo really hit the spot! The lobster roll was quite okay, with large chunks of cold lobster. My main complaint would be that the toast was too buttered, and the ratio of lobster to toast was slightly off.. would have preferred to have more lobster. You can never have too much lobster! My sister got the seafood alfredo, which came loaded with cheese, tiny shrimp, and lots of small scallops. The garlic bread was also nice. The portion was so huge that she had difficulty finishing it all! My mom got the quesadilla special of the day with a side of Caesar salad. She quite enjoyed it. Dad got the lobster grilled cheese with a side of tomato soup. There were also chunks of lobster in the sandwich, though he found the soup too ketchupy!
