Even with some plumbing issues that came up and slowed the process, they worked with me to get the job done in time for the painters arrival. Throughout the process they were professional, helpful, and bent over backwards to help me. I would definitely recommend Generation Flooring, a great, family owned business with the customer always their top concern.

We can't say enough about Generation Flooring! Wow! The installation of our flooring was top notch,…read moreactually beyond our expectations - and we're tough customers. In addition to installing the new vinyl plank flooring, Roy and Thomasina took out our carpet and removed original ceramic tile. Generation Flooring has the equipment needed to do dust free tile removal and we were impressed with their attention to detail throughout the entire project. Roy and Thomasina were on time every day and stayed late on the last day to make sure they finished by the deadline. Hands down one of the best contractors with whom we've ever worked.

We recently purchased a condominium at Infinity at The Colony from The Ronto Group, and while our…read moreinitial experience was filled with excitement and optimism, that enthusiasm quickly shifted once we made our deposit. In the early stages, we were impressed by the vision, presentation, and responsiveness of the team. However, once the commitment was made and money changed hands, the communication and cooperation began to falter. We had a few custom upgrade requests -- all of which we offered to pay for in full. These included a center island with waterfall edges, a full backsplash instead of a 5-inch one, and a dual shower. None of these requests were extravagant or unreasonable -- especially considering our unit was not even sheetrocked yet. Yet it felt like pulling teeth to get anything approved. The process was slow, frustrating, and unnecessarily difficult. As we got further along, we asked for clarification about the A/C and water heater sizing. We were surprised to learn that a $4 million unit was being fitted with an undersized A/C system and only a 50-gallon water heater -- barely sufficient for two people.. We proposed upgrades and offered to pay the full cost for a tankless water heater and a food warming drawer (a simple appliance that hadn't even been installed yet). Each time, the answer was just "no." There was no effort to find a middle ground or make reasonable accommodations -- despite our willingness to cover every expense. Even more concerning is the lack of communication. Follow-up questions went ignored, and even emails sent directly to Mr. Solomon -- the owner -- received no reply. For a developer marketing these homes as premium luxury residences, that kind of treatment is disappointing, to say the least. Another detail that speaks volumes: in the master bedroom closet, instead of installing a proper closet system, they provide nothing but slatted wood shelving and drywall. No cabinetry, no built-ins, no luxury finishes -- which, frankly, feels cheap in a home marketed as high-end. Compare this to the Ritz-Carlton Residences just down the road. While their prices may be even more unrealistic, they deliver a luxury experience top to bottom -- amenities, fit, and finish. I'd still choose our condo over theirs because of layout and overall value, but I highly doubt you'd encounter the kind of nickel-and-diming, pushback, and resistance to basic requests that we've seen with The Ronto Group. To be clear, we absolutely love the condo itself and are still looking forward to moving in. But prospective buyers should be warned: the experience post-contract is nothing like what's promised during the sales pitch. The unwillingness to work with buyers, even when upgrades are paid for in full, reflects a mentality that is out of touch with what high-end buyers expect -- and deserve. The product is beautiful. The service and support once you're out the door? Disappointingly to say the least. That is why 1 star.... so disappointed how they can just play it off with crickets. Todd W Condo unit 2204

FIVE STAR REVIEW ‼‼…read more "Editing my previous 1 star review" if I could give them 10 I would give them 10 stars. we should always love and support family owned small business I had an issue that was honestly miscommunication between three parties I spoke with Owner, Nick Boss . And within an hour, he was right here to speak with me face-to-face This says a lot about how much love and energy someone puts into their reputation and their Name and the love of their business.. Absolutely buy from and FLOOR MART ‼ he was very personable and had solutions to any and everything that I asked I would never shop anywhere else but Floor mart after today's experience meeting with the owner and I highly recommend you do to

We hired Floor Mart for a whole-home tile installation, and unfortunately, the experience was…read moredeeply disappointing. While the scope of the project was large, the execution lacked professionalism from the very beginning. The installation crew was clearly inexperienced--something the crew leader openly acknowledged, stating that several workers were still in training. Throughout the install, numerous baseboards, walls, personal property and existing finishes were damaged. Despite providing both photos and videos documenting these issues, the owner refused to take accountability. Instead, he became hostile, personally insulted me, and accused us of being unable to pay our bill--despite having received bank records showing our general contractor had been paid in full two months before the project even began. When we withheld final payment until repairs were made, the owner filed a lien on our home. He issued a partial credit for some of the damage but never took full responsibility. Once paid, he refused to complete the remaining punch list items--despite previously agreeing to do so in writing. Contrary to the owner's public response to my original review on google, the job was not completed. My husband and I had to finish grouting, repairing damage, and repainting--tasks that were Floor Mart's responsibility. Claims that all punch list items were resolved before payment are false, and I have timestamped written communication confirming the owner's refusal to finish the work. The accusation that I was abusive or made derogatory comments toward the crew is categorically false. I was direct in addressing the quality issues. For example, many baseboards were installed damaged. At my husband's request (he was working for our GC at the time), I marked damaged baseboards with small check marks using a Sharpie to indicate which ones needed to be replaced. No marks were ever made on the flooring. One mark was made on the wall to identify a large hole the crew created during demo--damage we later had to patch ourselves. Floor Mart claimed they sent a painting crew to cover these marks, but that's inaccurate. The painting crew was sent to clean up orange caulk lines, dirt, and grease left by the crew--not to cover Sharpie marks. Had all the damaged baseboards been replaced, the sharpie marks would've been gone. There were no other subcontractors present during this project; Floor Mart's crew was the only one on-site. Any claim that other subs had issues with me is categorically false. Our general contractor--a close family friend--has never made derogatory remarks about me or my mental health and neither has my husband who was equally disappointed in this experience. That accusation is a defamatory and dishonest attempt to discredit a legitimate complaint. To be clear: I have written, time-stamped communication, including messages with the sales rep (who was great), that fully support everything written here. This job did not go south until the owner got involved. The photos I've attached show real, unresolved damage and poor craftsmanship--not misleading "extreme close-ups." I'm writing this review to help others avoid the stress, cost, and conflict we experienced. If you're considering Floor Mart, I strongly recommend exploring other options. Pay close attention to how he responds to this review and to others with negative criticisms of the business.
