Our boy has been in it longer, focusing on Math as we felt his reading was adequate at the time. Thanks to Kumon, he not only excels in math at school, but he enjoys it too! Our girl too has benefited greatly from the lessons. We started her with the reading program and transitioned her to math just recently. Although she is a first grader, she reads at a much higher level. Her iReady scores track her at a 4th grade reading level! While I would love to say it is great genes, I know it is thanks to Kumon. Kumon focuses on basics and repetition and just like anything in life you get what you put into it. We are religious about making sure the kids do their Kumon homework! It pays off! Thank you Kumon of Escondido!

I contacted around 4 tutors (from a list from his school) via email, and Tina at Sparks was the first to respond with a detailed email of what was offered, price, location and gave her personal cell to call with any questions. The other responses were vague on what they provided or how it could help my son. After our first session with Tina for English and grammar tutoring, I couldn't believe my ears when my son said he loved it and wanted to go back after he was just in tears on our way there begging me not to take him. Tina is extremely patient and nonjudgmental which gives my son the environment to open up and learn. She is brilliant and easily conveys her knowledge in simple ways that my son can learn and remember. We go twice a week now and my younger son will be going here soon as well. Reading, writing, grammar and comprehension are essential life skills and my husband and I wanted to make sure this crucial knowledge, especially at this critical time in my son's life, were taught to him by a professional and we feel very lucky we were able to find Tina. What she has given my son for his future is invaluable!

I never call these ads normally but I figured I had nothing to lose and that is how I found Rshim. Seriously the best tutor ever. I have worked with other tutors in the past and this is what tutoring is supposed to be. Rshim figured out my learning style before I even knew what it was. Little did I know that flash cards would change my life. Rshim broke down the concepts for me in a very understandable way and helped me make me flash cards that made memorizing formulas and reactions in no time. I honestly think I will make flash cards for anything I am trying to learn in the future. Great tutor, great person, and someone you need to hire if you need a tutor. Thanks again Rshim!

The strong curriculum, combined with a close-knit, family-like environment, has helped my son grow tremendously in both confidence and character. I've always felt supported as a partner in his education. Grade-level field trips bring classroom learning to life, and opportunities like sports, music, and STEM programs help students explore their interests and build confidence. Community events like the Harvest Festival and Car Show create a welcoming atmosphere and truly make Grace feel like a second family. Most importantly, Grace provides an excellent Christian education in a loving, nurturing environment.
