I've never experienced such terrific communication and genuine feel-good moments. Audra; thank you for what you do. Jennifer, never have I experienced a photographer so genuine as yourself! While some photographers may be great at their trade; they often times have made me feel icky and uncomfortable while being photographed (I'll ALWAYS choose being behind the camera versus in front of it) and I didn't feel this way at all. Waking into Jennifer's studio and being made to feel welcome as if you stepped into someone's home is unique in itself. Jennifer not only makes you feel comfortable, she is hospitable (care for some water?), communicative (let's sit and chat a while) and welcoming (feel free to change in this room/make yourself comfortable/care for a snack?) Her husband kind and genuine and is a key player to the photography session as well. We were fortunate to see a post on Facebook looking for families with dogs and signed up for this session. Our dog is nearly 8 now and it's been some time since we last have been photographed as a family. I found Dorean when I came across one of her cake smash pictures on Pinterest. I fell in love with the photo - it was exactly what I had pictured for my daughters pictures. I got in touch with her, and from there everything else just fell into place. She was up front with providing her package information, session fees and deposits. Everything was perfectly laid out and super easy to understand. We were in contact many times before my session, she always was available for questions and was very hands on when needed and involved in helping me create the vision I had for the session. The day of my session, my always very happy go lucky daughter decided she was not at all interested in having her picture taken and preferred to stay glued to my leg crying for an hour. Dorean was so patient and understanding, and being a mom herself knows these things just happen sometimes. So after a little break, we came back and had an AMAZING session!
