This is a great place to worship. The worship and teaching is great. The spirit really moves.

The outgoing message when you call the church phone number mentions a website,…read moregraceindependentbaptist.org. However, there is no website, only articles about nothing having to do with this church or any other church, including an article about penis pumps (?). This information about the "website" was mentioned to the pastor, who did answer the phone number available online. He gave the impression that he was surprised with a sense of urgency about the condition of the website, and stated that he would take care if it. A week later, the fake website, or whatever it is, has not changed. I still visited this church, hoping my instincts were wrong regarding it's integrity. I parked in a space near the front door and walked to the main entrance of the church, which was locked. I went back to my car and soon a sweet young man came up to talk to me. I was the only car in the front parking lot near the main entrance. There were a few other cars parked in the very back, near the pastor's house, that were regularly parked there (I believe they belonged to the pastor and his family.) In short order, a vehicle pulled in, drove past me, then parked around the back near the pastor's home. The young boy excused himself, stating the names of those in that car, and went to greet them. Then a black pickup truck drove toward me and as it passed me, the gentleman driving the truck looked at me, then drove around to the back, parked, got out of his vehicle, and disappeared behind the church. This was the pastor, as I have seen pictures of him online. The service was scheduled to start at 7 pm on Wednesday. I verified this in a phone call with the pastor, a few days prior. It was beginning to get dark and I was waiting for the lights to come on in the church It was after 7 pm by this time, and there were no lights on in the church, and no one was parked in the front lot of the church except me. No adult greeted me or attempted to reach out in any way ( let alone acknowledged me), and being a woman alone in a strange environment and uncertain situation, I decided to leave. As difficult as it is to find a church that is true to the Word of God in these last days, to say that I was disappointed, is an understatement. Only 2 people showed up for a service to a church that has had the same pastor for at least 6 years. To be fair, the COVID hysteria is still going on so it is possible that people are afraid to congregate. However, the pastor mentioned in our phone call that they had re-opened 2 months ago. If you're trying to lead people to your church, why is your website, a website that you advertise in your outgoing phone message, phony? Why did only 2 people show up for this service? My lone car was obvious, yet no one made an effort to greet me or indicate a way into the building. Why don't they use the front door? And if they don't use the front door, why not make that known to visitors, especially when they call and email to gain information about the church, as I did? There is one other review written on this site regarding this place. It is positive with 5 stars. The author of the review is the pastor's wife.
