Seriously, they could be models (ok not like in "FHM" but definitely in "Nuts" or the "Daily Sport"). Also, they are actually nice to talk to, yeah they will ask you for a private dance (which is fair enough, of course) but they are nice about it if you don't fancy one that minute. Downsides would be the £10 entry-fee and the pricey drinks also you are not allowed to use your phone (ok, I can understand not being allowed to take photos but I just want to text my mates!), but I guess it's all fair enough considering what you get to see. All in all, if it's your first time going to a strip club or you fancy a good night with the chaps then I definitely recommend this place!

I confess I don't have any moral issue with strip clubs, and if I possessed the proverbial cojones, I'd probably try to work here, too. I've been to Fantasy a few times with a mixed group of people, one of whom was dating a girl who used to danced here, so I guess my experience was a bit skewed - they knew a lot of the staff, plus I think being a girl allowed me to be more of a fly on the wall than decorum would normally allow. What I did find, however, was Fantasy's party-like atmosphere was incredibly intoxicating and, well, fun. Arguably the best erotic entertainment venue in town, Fantasy Lounge is open six days a week, offering both topless and private naked dances, in addition to my favourite, the "Stag Fantasy Dance", where the said stag is handcuffed to a pole and left to the mercy of two eager dancers. And, of course, you have your usual topless stage shows running all night long. Fantasy's not as outwardly tacky as other adult entertainment venues I've been to, and with more than 50 dancers to hold your attention, it's the perfect place for an erotic evening nightcap.

I went back the next day to ask if they got turned in to the desk and they couldn't find anything. So I'm assuming they got stolen and I had to cancel all my cards and saw £3,500 charged to my card.

It's an underground strip club where you are greeted at the door by a couple of well-mannered (but intimidatingly large) bouncers. I chatted with a couple of them outside whilst having a cigarette and they seem decent enough guys. Firstly, the dancers here are friendly and polite even when you aren't coughing up any cash (like me!). It costs £10 for a dance at the table and £20 for a private dance. There are strict rules though such as not standing up at your table unless going to the bar or toilet and mobile phones are a definite no-no. As friendly as the staff are, expect to be firmly remonstrated for not sticking to these. Which is fair enough I gues. The drinks prices will bleed most people dry in a matter of minutes. I paid just over £15 for a glass of rose and 2 bottles of Corona. It's a classy enough place that I had to act like that didn't bother me though, and through gritted teeth I handed the barman a 20. It's a decent place if you keep your wits about you, but be aware that everyone's so friendly for a reason and getting sucked in too much could be a seriously pricey night!

I don't object to them on any moralistic grounds, and I understand that a lot of guys and girls get a kick out of them that you can't get anywhere else, but they just aren't my thing. However, like many of my little forays into the seedy underbelly of the world, I was dragged to For Your Eyes Only by friends. It's all very well and good saying I don't see the point in it, but when it's a stag do, you don't have much choice. So anyway; here goes nothing. For Your Eyes Only was an interesting experience for the awkward observer. A lot of the women were certainly lovely looking and, I guess they did their thing with enthusiasm and aplomb. The drinks were a little expensive, but not outrageously so, and the waitresses were great to talk to for the less interested among us. Short review: If you like it, knock your self out. If you don't like it, don't go. If you don't like it and have to go, it's not the end of the world. Hug the bar, knock back a few drinks and make friends with the barstaff.
