I cannot say enough good things about Dave and Bristlecone Tree Care, although I am certainly going to make a serious attempt.
My husband and I own a two-acre mountain property in Nathrop that we absolutely love and plan to keep forever. When several trees were affected by pine beetle kill, we needed a company that could safely remove them without unnecessarily damaging the surrounding forest or making the rest of the property look as though a logging operation and a small tornado had joined forces.
From the beginning, Dave was exceptional.
He handled all of the arrangements, communicated clearly about the work, and was responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with throughout the entire process. He was also on-site for the job, which gave me enormous confidence that everything we had discussed would be handled exactly as promised.
It was, and then some.
Dave and his two crew members worked tirelessly all day removing the affected trees, chipping the material, and hauling everything away. Some of the trees were located in steep, heavily wooded sections of the property that I genuinely did not believe they could reach with their equipment.
They reached them.
I am still not entirely sure how.
Watching Dave and the crew climb and maneuver through the trees was honestly incredible. "Spider-Man with chainsaws" may not be the technical industry term, but it is the most accurate description available to me.
They worked efficiently while still being exceptionally careful with the surrounding trees, terrain, and property. Dave communicated with me throughout the day, kept me informed about what they were doing, and never made me feel as though I was bothering him by asking questions.
Every member of the crew was polite, professional, patient, and kind.
What mattered most to me was the care they showed our property. This is not simply a house and two acres to us. It is a place we treasure, and Dave clearly understood that. He and his crew worked as though protecting the property was just as important as completing the job.
Their pricing was also incredibly reasonable, particularly given the amount of labor, the difficult terrain, the equipment required, and the level of expertise involved. They completed a tremendous amount of challenging work in a single day and left the property clean, safe, and well cared for.
I would trust Dave and Bristlecone Tree Care with our property again without hesitation. Anyone in Nathrop, Buena Vista, Chaffee County, or the surrounding Central Colorado area who needs tree removal, pine beetle mitigation, fire mitigation, or forest health work should call them.
