You can change into your robe and slippers in your room and then check in at the spa entrance. They recommended we book a two hour timeslot but when we arrived we found that it wasn't really enforced and you could pretty much come and go as you please. We checked in and they gave us a complimentary spa bag and a tour of the spa facilities. The spa consists of three levels. The top is checkin with a small shop of lovely scented things as well as a yoga room with complimentary classes. The second level are the pools and saunas. Downstairs to this you'll find some complimentary juice, tea, fruit, and a few other snacks in a relaxation room. The spa level features an impressive glass box pool that hangs out over the edge of the building so that you can watch the cars and people bustling below and they can watch your..undercarriage. It had some nice views and was quite refreshing with the crisp weather. The other two inside pools, saunas, and steam rooms were all nice and everything was beautifully decorated with the fresh clean botanical design of Upper House. We did not try any of the services but enjoyed the pools even though it was pretty crowded. Overall it was a nice spa sporting some impressive views from the Gothia Towers tippy top.

I have nothing but great things to say about this salon. I have been coming here since I moved to…read moreGothenburg about a year and a half ago and Camilla is probably my favorite hairdresser I've had in my life. She's an expert when it comes to color and always knows the right balance of natural color close to the root so you can hardly tell when it grows out and vibrant fun colors towards the ends to keep up with the latest trends. She's always willing to change up the color to coincide with the seasons but does it in a smart way so I can easily go lighter or darker again. I've had a pretty simple cut and have been letting my hair grow out since I've been here, but from what I can see everyone at Junkstyle is talented when it comes to both cut and color. The salon itself is really cozy and welcoming. They always have great music playing. I also am impressed with the evo products I've bought from there. I have a copper color depositing conditioner to keep my hair vibrant and a regular conditioner to keep my hair healthy. Booking an appointment can be difficult, especially in the evenings, so I recommend booking as early as possible. I usually book about two months before. If you're looking for a hair salon, Junkstyle is definitely one of the best!

Calling this place a "spa" is an understatement. It's a "lifestyle oasis" as their website…read moreproclaims. I was in Gothenburg for the very first time with my fiancee, who is a native. When I told her that the hotel we were staying at had a spa, we both figured it would be the basic hotel spa we've seen over and over again. We couldn't have been more wrong! In fact, this place puts so many other spas to shame. It truly is a relaxing sanctuary in the middle of downtown Gothenburg. From the large whirlpools to the anti-gravity loungers, various rainfall rooms, sauna, steam room, and various baths for various body parts, this is a total relaxation experience that can't be beat! My fiancee liked it SO much that she didn't want to leave. We bought a couple of gift cards for her relatives that live in the area so they could go enjoy themselves, too. I could go on an on and describe each room, bath, massage areas, and more...but you should go experience it yourself. You'll find it nestled in the basement of the Radisson Blu hotel. Your body and mind will thank you!

They have a warm and welcoming interior that looks newly designed and polished. Hair Stylist - 5 stars!! I got a haircut from one of their trainees, and as a hardened New Yorker with experience limited to only 15+ years in the business stylists, this haircut was no different. One of the other stylists came and checked up on the appointment every 20 minutes to make sure everything was going as it should. They offered great recommendations on layering and length and also listened to my neurotic specific length requirement for my bangs. I came out of the appointment totally happy. It took about 2 hours in total, but I bet it would be much faster with someone with less hair, I have really long, thick and curly hair. Booking - 5 stars, they have an online booking appointment website which makes it literally 4 clicks from appointment time. If you do not care who cuts/styles your hair they have tiers of stylists, from "anyone" to only master stylists, and I think that will then impact the price of the appointment. I booked for a simple women's haircut, which of course included shampoo/condition, and post-cut styling. Looking on their website they do most everything, from mens/womens haircuts to coloring/styling etc. When I was there there was a man getting a beard/haircut and a women getting highlights. Price - 5 stars! I had to take a double take at the price, it was 350 kroner, and let me tell you I've got a lot of hair, and I've never had a haircut even close to this price in my life, and yet the haircut I got was in line with the haircuts I got from master stylists in the heart of manhattan. If you're in town or live in Gothenburg, it's an obvious choice for a great place to get your hair cut or styled - already booked my next appointment.

I have been living in Gothenburg for almost two years and I have been on a quest to find someone that does my nails as well as my lady in Philadelphia. It's been a real challenge... until I stumbled upon Mazi. I got a gel manicure before the holidays and it lasted for four weeks without any chipping or peeling whatsoever. I even went rock climbing! The only reason the polish came off is because I got another gel manicure from Jovana this week. On top of her amazing manicure skills, she is so sweet and so fun to chat with. I plan on booking appointments every 3-4 weeks for the foreseeable future.
