I would not recommend Kirbo Law firm for a Probate matter. I needed an attorney to help me handle a…read morevery simple probate case. Not being from the area, I relied on a friend of a friend recommendation. I hired Aurora Kirbo to handle this for me. While the paperwork was eventually filed, I found that Mrs. Kirbo lacked the compassion and empathy necessary to deal with a grieving family member who has never been thru the probate process. She did not keep me updated on the process and did not return phones calls. I had to call the office repeatedly to follow up and get my appointment with the judge scheduled. At the end of my appointment with the judge which was a very emotional day for me, I stood in the hall and waited for her while she stayed in the judges chambers to discuss football. When I had a follow up question after my filing was completed, it took me 3 weeks and 3 messages to get in touch with her and this was only because on my 4th time calling she happened to answer the phone. While to my knowledge the actual legal work was done correctly (hence the generous 2 stars) I would not recommend her or hire her again.
