Wow! What incredible service! I read that a geometra in Italy can provide a wide array of services…read morebut Paolo truly surpassed all expectations! He helped advise us on the available properties, helped negotiate the price, help arrange contractors for repair estimates, helped us set up utilities which was challenging as Americans, figure out the complex garbage schedule, and most importantly introduce us to our local community. He also discussed our remodeling ideas with us and improved our understanding of construction techniques. There seemed to be no limit to the things he was able to help us with and with 3 children studying architecture and engineering, I'm sure his list of services will continue to grow. Paolo and his charming family are proud Sambucese and helped us understand the importance of family grown olive trees/olive oil and local produce/livestock. We learned a lot about local traditions in the short time we were in town and we can't wait to learn more when we return!
