They really do care about my mother as a human and a friend. She is treated with dignity. I can visit her whenever I want and simply enjoy her at the stage she is at because her meds & personal needs are handled. The only reason we did not move my mother here; was she is happy where she is and relocating her at this time was not in her best interest. If it was solely about my wants and needs - she would be there now. Scott left the option open should her needs change in the future. Personally, from what I have seen from the many we have toured, this is one of the best.

It makes me sad to write that because some of their "care partners" are excellent, but turnover is high because of how they are treated by the Ringling Bro Circus ladies. I think they are very excited about their "new titles" and I get that. It is exciting when one moves up to a position with low levels of education as such. But, unfortunately it creates an environment where the residents are not taken care of and they really don't know what they are doing. It's too bad because the facility does look nice. Just know that they don't actually provide many of the amenities they say that they do. There are so many better options in the area with much higher quality caregiving for the same price. We moved our family member and their disposition changed dramatically upon leaving. I'm always super cautious of any place that has their own current employees reviewing on google. The more appropriate platform for that is Indeed or Glassdoor. It's a clear attempt to increase the rating.

These places are expensive. But they are providing 24 hour care to your loved one. This is second place we have had our loved one in. The first one was not good but Avanti is 100% different. The staff are so friendly and caring to us and to their residents. They treat them just like they are their own loved one. They do actives with them to help keep their brain functioning sharp. Everyone here from Nina at the front desk to the kitchen staff are great. Thank you so much for the exemplary care you are providing my MIL.

My mom lived there 6 1/2 yrs. The nurse practitioners over medicated my mom and when I told them to…read morestop - because I held medical power of attorney I was literally told " it's not that simple" I had to inquire if I needed an attorney to get the overdosing stopped. The medical "professional" prescribing the over medication was not following the oncologist's medication and she told me 5 times the wrong chemotherapy drug my mother was on. Since my moms passing they owe my mothers estate in excess of $3000. They acknowledge it but have been claiming the Che k would be mailed for the last 90 days while refusing to provide any information for follow up. It's clearly " the checks in the mail" nonsense to keep an elderly person money. I can only imagine how many elderly residence have been over medicated and fleeced by this company. It looks like I'm going to contact our family attorney.
