Used Green Machine 12 months ago and very disappointed (and this is the first negative review I…read morehave ever posted online). I engaged them after seeing an ad in the local paper for 'full day fixed price garden cleanup for 2 men'...but was then 'upsold' to an additional gardener after they had a look at the site (a normal suburban block). The first warning for me should have been when they requested payment upfront...before any work had been done. I now understand why. The second warning should have been when all three of the gardeners left the job and travelled to the refuse station together (twice, for over an hour each time to empty the trailer) - despite having paid for a 'full days work' for all three. When I later questioned the owner, the response was that this was due to the design of their trailer which needed all three to attend for 'health and safety' reasons. The final straw was when I contacted them again to share the fact that I was disappointed with the total time spent on site and had the, quite pompous, owner attempt to argue me out of my opinion. As a gesture of good faith, he kindly offered a discount of 10% for the next days work...to complete the unfinished job! Due to time pressures on the rental property I really had no choice but to pay again. On a positive note, the team was quite professional when they were there. This may have been just been a once-off, but it is important to share in case this is systemic behaviour. Unfortunately it means I would never recommend this service, and certainly not use again myself. Why the review now? Because they had the poor judgment to spam my inbox today...and I'm still annoyed.

Needing around 250 blocks I ordered 50 b grade off these guys based on images that were sent by the…read moresales team. Upon installation 18 were nothing like what was in the images or as described on the invoice 500x500x1000-1100 long approx. I received some as short as 500 long, wedge shaped, rounded ends, misshapen etc To be fair someone did come out to inspect however all he did was measure one side and said it's within tolerance. Citing + or - 100mm which is nothing like the invoice described See the attached images and decide for yourself, two images of walls are what I was sent by the sales team and the single block images are what I received. Not a good experience for a customer who needs another 200 blocks, I requested replacements in lieu of another order but feel fobbed off after being told that isn't going to happen, so at this point will shopping elsewhere. Sorry guys I can't recommend your company.
