If I could give 0 stars I would!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR SWEET ANGLE HERE!! The staff is very unprofessional and the administrators do not care!! Staff member with tattoos, piercings and crazy contracts!!! ( very unprofessional way to dress for work and be around children I understand times have changed but there still gotta be some type of limit) accused 9 month old baby as " Pissed Off" word for word. When addressed staff members / Administrators LAUGHED off comments!! No action taken!!! I truly wonder why they are still open!! We have also noticed behavioral changes in our sweet baby and they are not good!! Who knows what goes on behind the scenes!!! They seem like they don't hire people who are not emotionally equipped to handle child which some gems but VERY VERY FEW Please I am begging you if you love your babies please DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BRING THEM HERE!! This review is for the Cibolo location. The place is full of drama within management. I do not feel anyone should send their kids here as there are other more professional options not far away. Pulled my son out from B.F.L.C. because daycare did not follow the appropriate procedures by giving my son foods that he is not supposed to eat and is allergic to. He is allergic to whole milk and peanuts will kill him according to his allergy physician. One day when I had picked him up one evening, his skin was severely blotchy and he was acting irritated. When asked to speak to the manager, manager had left for the day. The girl on duty at the front desk would not call her. Then I asked to speak to the owner and was told the same thing. I had to end up calling the cops and manager showed up and I was given a trespass warning and could not return. My wife showed up in the morning and she was able to speak to his teacher from the previous day and teacher told her that he was given regular milk instead of his normal almond milk. When asked why did she do that. She then told my wife that she was working alone most of the day and was overwhelmed with the amount of children she had. She also admitted never looking at his file of what he could or cannot eat. Keep in mind the owner and manager was not able to see the teacher before my wife did the following morning. Now let's get this correct ? We would pay good and on time money every week for him to be cared for properly and that was completely ignored. It is also written in his file what he is and not suppose to eat. That was totally completely ignored that day and we imagine til this day what if they ate peanuts that day. He would not be here with us because peanuts can kill him within minutes according to his allergy physician. Even though our son doesn't go there anymore, we're still scared for the next child that could potentially get hurt or killed under their management. We're all aware only death or hospitalization could give someone the right to sue the company. What is the the point of having money if our son isn't no longer here to enjoy life with us. He could of died or been seriously put in the hospital because of B.F.L.C. failing to follow proper feeding procedures that day. No money could ever replace our son, neither no one else's. read more

We love this place! And so do our kids. My son started out in the crawlers room at 12 months. They were great with him and worked really hard to get him walking to move him up. He has been there over a year and is learning so much! They have been teaching him Spanish too! Now he is working on potty training. My daughter started in the pre-k program and she soared. She had the best teachers. Mrs. Bonita is amazing and really prepares them for kindergarten. They love going everyday and the staff feel like family. We are going to miss them when we have to move again and the staff is already sad we are leaving and we haven't left yet! Way better than the CDC on post!!!! read more

My children attended here and I loved the place! They are very organized, friendly, and have the best interest of the children in mind. I read the other review and find no basis in the one star. Her children never attended. And of course you can't tour a daycare during nap time!! I don't want you in my child's daycare while staffing is minimized and children are resting. read more

WORST PROGRAM EVER! This is the worst place for your children. My niece has had 7 accidents in a two week span since going to this school, she never had this many at her normal school. She is scared to ask the daycare teacher to go to the bathroom since they would not let her while she was at a field trip. They over charge for the activities for their summer program. FOR example they charged 8$ for pizza and then never took them to go get pizza or get them pizza. They charge over 7$ for the movie and the movie only costs 1$ for them to get in and then they, where does the rest of the money go? It's not to popcorn or drinks, you have to pay extra for that (but they fail to mention that to you ahead of time before the field trip). It gets worse, these are not the only things that have happend but ASK them any questions about what's going on with your children and they will give you a termination letter, so watch out! I was able to be a stay at home mom with my youngest son until he was was 8 months old. When I started to go back to work the daycare where all 5 boys have been Texas Heritage didn't have an opening for him or his 6 year old brother so I asked to put on their waiting list and I was referred to BRIGHTER FUTURES. I made the choice and I terribly regret it. I enrolled my 6 year old for the before and after school program. Last Thursday I get a call at 4:45pm from my 6 year olds school principal telling me there was a mix up and he was put in a school bus and not his Daycare bus. BRIGHTER FUTURE NEVER called me to tell me or even ask me if I had picked up my son early from school or to notify me he wasn't at school when they went to pick him up. So when I walked up to the front desk and spoke with Frances (Assistant Director) told me they don't call parents to verify why the child is not on the bus and they charge a fee because it's an "inconvenience" that they drove all the way (less than a mile) to find out the child was picked up early. I told her what happened and she was very insensitive and unapologetic about the situation. Even after telling her my son is 6 years old and what if he would have gotten off at a bus stop and I don't know where he is because you didn't take the time to call the parent to ask! She said to me 3 times during the conversation "We don't call parents to verify there's no need" I was livid at how the situation was handled more so when I called the next afternoon waiting to see if a manager would call, but management never bothered to call me to even say she heard what had happened and they will use this for future pick ups or so they won't make that same mistake with another child. When I finally spoke to the Director Jennifer Friday late afternoon she was just as insensitive that I told them both they should not be working at a daycare facility to take care of children when you don't take the time to call the parent and find out why he's not on your bus. They argued with me and blamed the school and I explained to them, this is my child and you never bothered to call me or even apologize to me about the mistake. She bluntly said to me "apologize for what?" UNBELIEVABLE I told her I have a contract with you and I pay you money to drop and pick up my child from his school. If he's not on the bus take a minute and call me the PARENT and let me know. They said they didn't do anything wrong and stuck to that and kept my deposit even after speaking to the director Friday how I felt my children were not safe in their care and she agreed,and said she would have the check ready Tuesday Sept 5. I went Tuesday check wasn't there they ran out if checks.... I asked Frances to call the director because again I didn't get a call to tell me the check wasn't ready and won't be ready now until Wednesday morning. I wanted to confirm my refund on my deposit plus on the week that I had already automatically withdrawn from my account. Then she changed the what she and I discussed over the phone and back pedaling saying no you don't get that back because they didn't stay the full 2 weeks. We were just going in cricles and when I asked for the owners name which is Rhonda and number or how to reach her she said she would have her call me. Did I get a call... nope plus she told me the owner would say the same thing. NEVER AGAIN I REPORTED them to Texas child care licencing about my 6 year old and I got both my boys out of BRIGHTER FUTURES the next day. Texas Heritage had both openings and my boys are back to the daycare where I know first hand my boys will be safe and taken care of. If you live in the Schertz/Cibolo area DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO BRIGHTER FUTURES . Very unprofessional and it's not about your children safety it's about money to these two women! I am moving to San Antonio and came to visit for a couple of days to check out childcare. I visited Brighter Futures around 12 in the afternoon. The moment I walked in, I felt unwelcome. The woman at the front desk rudely informed me that she would not allow me to tour since the children were napping. I understand that children nap, but had toured other daycares during naptime and was able to see (through the windows) inside of the rooms. She then proceeded to show me the room on the video monitor and blandly explain some of their policies. She seemed irritated that I had even asked for a tour. She never asked me my name, what I may be interested in or showed any signs of friendliness. Not a good experience and definitely somewhere I would not leave my child. I've toured so many incredible facilities in San Antonio and this one absolutely does not compare. I will take my money and my child elsewhere. read more

Will not accommodate children with special needs, my son is paralyzed & they would not accommodate him because he is not potty trained. We would have to provide a caretaker to be there every hour to "change" him if needed (which he doesn't). Made me feel very unwelcome.. Do not take your children here. If something is wrong they will tell you when it's too late. "we don't like to put negative on their daily report". How are you supposed to know when your child is doing wrong and needs correction. Don't waste your time taking your kids here, they don't want to help your kids. They'd rather tell you that if your child messes up again, you will have to pick him/her up. They force you put BC they know you can't leave work. Also, don't buy art supplies, BC if you are asked to leave those are the schools property. Wish we had known we were supplying the school w art supplies. This place is a joke. They do not know the meaning of communication.also they hire inexperienced people. Patents, do yourself a favor and do NOT bring your kids here!!!!!!! I recommend nobody bring their kid here or even work at these facilities. Management is horrible and the teachers are no better. I used to work at the Cibolo location. I got fired recently because basically a coworker of mine told the front that i pinched a kid and left a mark on the child's arm which was not true my other coworkers who didnt agree with the situation found that it was false and there was no marks on that child whatsoever with no video evidence no pictual evidence no anything! And I've been working there for a whole year yet one little false incident towards me gets me fired yet the people who actually bite those kids and slap those kids across the face still work there because they said they had to have visual evidence, so that teacher in walkers and in 2B are still working there knowing they hit people's kids they do not care for your child. Management is the worse! There care nothing about those kids there was a point they knew raw food and spoiled milk was being handed out and they still served it to the kids, also they never inform the parents about sick kids or horrible incidents they endure to themselves because they claim they were "busy" or the parents phone line was "busy" you have to remind them several times to do so or they will not do it. read more

I was very unimpressed with this daycare. As parents we feel it is our duty to explain our feelings to others. Without giving all the many details as how we as parents feel this way, I can sum it up very simply. The Assistant Director is disrespectful and rude. Another profession would suite her. The staff seems to not know what is going on. Turnover rate seems to be very frequent. Curriculum for my child's age seems very sloppy. Structure and positive discipline seem to be lacking. This is just a very small portion of what I choose to write. Unfortunately this review is based off just visiting the facility on multiple occasions and conversations with staff, but with my child's best interest in mind we passed. I understand to those reading this review it may not have a lot of merit as we were not clients; however I also urge you to see this review was written by someone that was a potential client that truly cares. My daughter started at Brighter Futures when she was 18 months old and she is about to turn 4 in December. She had a little trouble adjusting to being in daycare at first, but all of the teachers and staff made the transition as easy as they could. All of her teachers in her different classes have been wonderful people who genuinely seem to care for the children that attend there. The ladies in the front office are fantastic as well! They always seem cheerful and greet everyone with a "good morning" or "have a nice day." Kolby in particular is always very friendly even when you can tell she has a million things going on. I would recommend this daycare to any of my friends who are looking for somewhere to place their child. The ONLY thing that I can say anything negative about is that since my daughter has been in the 3 year old class, her teachers have changed quite often. However, I think there is finally a permanent teacher in there now and she seems to fit well with the crazy 3 year olds! Other than that, everything is always clean and everyone is friendly. We will keep our daughter there until she starts elementary school. read more
