Perfect storm for me really, I grew up next to one of the Founding Fathers of Psychological Healthcare, who died in a boating accident, one of 2 men. He was a good man, however. One of those "founders" was my initial psychologist there, an agency I was connected to for about 33 years, who made a very paradoxical remark about my health and well being that I should have never taken seriously, had I known then what I know now about all that is involved. My life, full of frustration and paradoxes, created by the very system that I thought was there to resolve them, having freed myself from them and it finally a decade ago, and discovering myself anew. The system is parasitic, devious, and exactly the inverse of "mental healthcare," once you become part of it, it's almost impossible to exit.
