Sparq Designs is a Pittsburgh-based marketing agency that was founded in 2013. According to its…read morewebsite, its services include strategy such as customer research and brand positioning, online marketing such as search engine optimization and social media, multimedia such as photography and videos, web design and development, and creative development such as identity design and brand development. My experience with Sparq Designs is not as a client but rather as a research subject. Weeks ago, Sparq Designs sent me an email to ask if I would participate in a 30-minute video interview about a particular food business. I eventually found time in my life to schedule the interview. The moderators planned to conduct the interview through Google Meet, and they started the interview on time. I used to work as I professional researcher, so I have experience with interviewing people. I thought that the moderators did an excellent job of understanding the purpose of the study, asking open-ended questions, and probing with follow-up questions. Shortly after the interview ended, a moderator emailed me the incentive, a coupon code to use at the food business. Overall, I enjoyed interacting with Sparq Designs's employees via email and the video interview, and I appreciated the incentive coupon. I encourage other people to participate in Sparq Designs's studies.
