We spent approximately $30,000, and while there were elements of the wedding that were beautiful, there were too many issues with communication, execution, and attention to detail for me not to share our experience. From the beginning, I had a very clear vision and communicated specific preferences around our color palette and overall design. Our primary colors were green and white, with very intentional use of other tones. Despite that, they delivered a completely different color palette for not only the florals but the linens, candles, votives etc. More concerning was the condition and execution of some of the florals. Several arrangements included flowers that appeared partially dead or past their prime. A vase I had specifically asked not to be used was incorporated anyway, while another vessel we had discussed was missing. These may sound like small details, but when you are paying this much for professional wedding design, the details are exactly what you are paying someone to manage. Communication was another significant frustration. We had outstanding questions about linens that went unanswered from January 17 until the week before the wedding, leaving decisions that should have been resolved well in advance to become unnecessarily last-minute. We ultimately had to find a different vendor for the table linens, In the weeks leading up to a wedding, having to repeatedly follow up on design details adds stress rather than alleviating it. There were also execution issues on the wedding weekend itself. They showed up 3 hours late for set up. We paid for what we understood to be a custom bar setup, yet a bar from a previous wedding was reused despite us being charged for the custom paint. Plates were not set as expected, and there were interactions with staff that we found unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. I understand that weddings are complex events and that not every detail will be perfect. I also don't expect a vendor to control every variable on a wedding day. But at this price point, I do expect strong communication, careful adherence to the agreed-upon design, quality florals, and meticulous execution. There were beautiful aspects of the design, and I wish I could leave a more positive review. Unfortunately, the combination of communication problems, missed design requests, floral quality issues, and execution mistakes made the overall experience disappointing--particularly given the approximately $30,000 investment. I reached out on 5-6 occassions to Luna and her team via call, email and texts to her personal cell to discuss this experience - all went unanswered except 1 email to which they said - they are too busy to meet. For future couples considering Luna Design Company, I would look elsewhere. There are plenty of wonderful design companies in the area

The pool table was not a full-size pool table, nor was it at all level. The pockets had holes torn in them so every time a ball went into the side pockets the balls would come shooting out from the hole and roll across the floor. We decided to add the jumper just a few days before the party, and they made it happen, no problem. I also appreciated that they weren't strict or trying to charge extra for drop-off/pick-up times. Once booked, he and his business partner (Matt) were thorough with coordinating delivery/pickup details and remained flexible through the whole process. Matt was kind when he arrived to setup and provided clear information about the bouncer/water slide.
