They used a new treatment on 5 of my teeth where it was needed to prevent and reverse cavities that were forming. That treatment isn't covered by my insurance yet, (FedBCBS) but it might be in the next year. My husband's appointment is next so I am hoping his experience goes well also.

They left my broken tooth hanging without even explaining they could have bonded the tooth to the other teeth so it wouldn't detach before some sort of dental work could be done to fix the problem.I went to another dentist the same day not only did he bond the tooth to the others, the treatment plan was less than half what Patel quoted me. Do not go here. They could care less and are only in It for the $$$$$$. Oh and by the way when I asked Dr Patel about my hanging tooth and what I should do I the meantime, he was like "oh well".

The office is beautiful and they have heat and massage chairs and will bring you a blanket if you are cold. They also have bird feeders out the window so you can look at the birds. Wife's dentures broke in half, called to discuss and set up the best time to come in. Three calls, each one takes you through a menu that ultimately asks you to wait on the line. About 5 minutes on hold each time listening to the same propaganda about how much they care. Finally clicks to a message stating they "cannot answer your call". Says you may leave a message and they will respond within 1 to 2 business days. 4th call was answered and immediately put on hold and put back into the same message loop with the same result. Extremely frustrating! In my opinion, this is a very poor way to operate a business of this type. If you don't want to talk to people on the phone, just state that you take walk-ins only. Otherwise, add staff or an additional link to someone who can take a phone call.

I trusted Dr. Collias with my dental care, and between he & his receptionist/biller, I was taken advantage of. I was told my insurance didn't cover certain things (much like other commenters), and I was forced to pay out of pocket for things my insurance would've paid for! But... why would they bill insurance when the insurance rate is less money than they scammed out of me? Right. I had to have a peer review of my dental work from Dr. Collias, proving that it was not right, in order for my insurance to pay for my teeth to be FIXED due to his botched work. Thank the lord they found negligence in his dental work or I would've been out more money. The dental work I received has left me with LIFE LONG issues. I have had to see 3 different specialists to fix his work. I will never return or recommend anyone to this office. His receptionist is rude & unprofessional, and the dentist himself is not as skilled as he says he is. Seriously. Take it from me. Dr. Collias was friendly and personable and assessed my tooth in a timely manner. Within a couple of days, I had a new filling and crown to correct the cracked tooth and exposed filling. Although I do have insurance, the out-of-pocket cost seemed somewhat high for the procedure, but in the end, I'm glad my issue was remedied. One complaint: while in the clinic that week, I scheduled a cleaning and never had a follow-up. I reached out a second time about dental cleaning and was put "on the list." But I never heard back from the office. All in all, I was pleased with the emergency services but disappointed with the lack of follow-up on my teeth cleaning. It is my understanding the clinic uses "traveling or independently employed" hygienists. Nevertheless, this issue should be corrected if you offer dental cleaning options to patients. - Justin
