Dr. Patel and Dr. Fure are really good dentists. If u have an emergency you can be a walk in.Their prices are reasonable.

I decided to get a second opinion and was told I DID NOT need a root canal and it was in-fact a sinus infection causing tooth pain. and my tooth was actually FINE. The other dentists The endodontist HERE read my X-rays INCORRECTLY and made me think I had a cracked tooth and need a root canal and that I could even loose the tooth! They charged me $285 for the X-rays /"consultation" (that was wrong ) in which I wasn't told that it would cost that much for just a Consult / x-rays . They wouldn't refund me any money even though they were wrong!!! Be careful !

This is the best run medical office I have ever visited! Was referred here for a root canal, and…read morefrom the moment I walked in I was impressed with the friendly professionalism of everyone, starting with the receptionists out front. The communication was awesome, which is exactly what you need when you are scared to death! Then instead of forging ahead with a procedure that would have earned the practice thousands, the doctor told me there were a couple alternatives to the root canal, and did I want to think them over and consult with my dentist again. That says everything you need to know about this practice!

Made an appointment and then entered my insurance info online. When I arrived I was asked for my…read moresocial security number which I was uncomfortable providing. In the past Ive been notified of many password and social security breaches so I didnt think that was relevant to a basic cleaning only appointment. My insurance 100% covers the cleaning. After not wanting to provide my social the office manager came out and said they need my social to submit to Delta Dental. I felt uncomfortable with the entire proceeding so offered to just leave. However, I decided to call Delta Dental and was told that just my insurance info that I provided was enough to look up my policy. I then called Wynnewood Dental Arts and merged in the Delta Dental rep. She clearly told Wynnewood Dental Arts my social wasnt needed. Then Wynnewood Dental Arts said they verified my Delta coverage the day before, but like to have the social security numbers as an office policy (not what the manager said to me). If you want to be treated like an idiot and lied to this is the office for you. Again, they never needed my social, already had my insurance verified, and then lied to me

I am greeted by my name, staff are courteous and my appointment times are always respected. I picked this office through the Alumni Network of Temple University-Dr. DeFinnis lived up to his reputation. I'll start with the good. The front receptionist and two dental hygienist assistants I encountered…read morewere very nice and professional. They are the reason I'm giving stars at all. The resident dentist, Dr. Ayoki, was the downfall. I came in December 2025 for a cleaning but after scans and lots of waiting, I was told I needed a deep cleaning & 2 fillings, which required new appointments. I recieved an estimate and treatment plan. Great. Finally made it back this month. Confirmed the plan and price. 1st appointment, I paid half of the total and was instructed the balance would be collected at appointment #2. Cool, but then the dentist was in such a rush she didn't allow the numbing spray to kick in before administering the needles. This was beyond painful. During the 2nd appointment to complete the cleaning, they requested a much higher payment then what was presented in the insurance approved treatment plan. I asked to have it adjusted and reviewed by the insurance again. I'm the end I still ended up paying more than planned. This felt like a intentional money grab. A hour pass my appointment time, I was taken back. 15 minutes later I'm numbed up and given the shots. Still painful. But I digress. Then the dentist leaves me for 50 MINUTES to work on two other patients. (One of which came in after me). When she returned, she never offered an apology or words of reassurance. She genuinely seemed irritated that I mentioned the time and had questions about the change in cavity treatment. Only seeming to speak when the drill was going and I could not hear her. When finished she dismissed me through the assistant. *walk the patient out*. This reiterated her lack of bedside manner. These experiences are why people dislike the dentist experience so much. I won't be back and do not recommend.

The office staff, particularly the manager and receptionist, were unprofessional and dismissive when I called with questions about charges on my account. While reviewing my bill, I noticed I had been charged for services from a prior visit that I was never informed I would be responsible for paying. When I called seeking clarification about these charges, my concerns were not properly addressed, and I was ultimately hung up on. During one of my appointments, the X-ray technician failed to capture the images that the dentist needed, resulting in the X-rays having to be retaken. It was frustrating to learn that I might be charged for additional imaging when the repeat X-rays were necessary due to a mistake made during the original procedure. I was also uncomfortable with comments made by the X-ray technician while taking the images. He repeatedly said things such as, "Open your mouth," and "You can open your mouth wider than that," in a manner that I found inappropriate and unprofessional. His overall conduct and appearance did not reflect the level of professionalism I expect in a healthcare setting. Patients deserve transparency regarding billing, respectful communication, and professional treatment. Unfortunately, my experience at City Dental Arts fell short in all of these areas. This version focuses on your experience, the unexpected billing issue, and the professionalism concerns in a clear and factual way.
