The place has 2 beautiful lakes with 4 swimming pools. It is completely safe to live here, and the community does a great job keeping it that way. A Pocono Country Place is like any other CITY. (It is a community with over 4,000+ homes) The APCP team is doing there best to make it better. It is not as bad as people make it out to be. The ones that are complaining either are not in good standing, or just reading old reviews that have no merit. Other just complain and have no say because they do not show up at the meeting to share their opinions. In the 13+ years we owned a house in A Pocono Country Place we have not had any problems.We love living here, and plan to stay to enjoy our future retirement.

However what I really like about this particular society is that they are in an area full of hard-working blue-collar types that do not traditionally recognize or accept this kind of lifestyle or identity or human being. So they're doing good work in an area that needs it and they have all my support - as do any LGBT activists in the world. Of which of course I am one.

In terms of the facility it was easily 4 star level. But you can't leave out Location, Location, Location. The Morris Plains Community Center is in the middle of the Morris Plains Community Park! That means it is next to 5 baseball fields, 2 batting cages, 2 basketball courts, 2 tennis courts, 1 playground, 1 gated sand box, a covered picnic area, a pond, and a community pool. This place gets the 5 star rating because it is surrounded by so many options to have a good time outside. No voters were harmed during the writing of this review. And if there were, FUGETABOUTIT!!!

i am embarrassed of what i saw on monday when i visited my sister who lives by the ridge. we grew…read moreup in holland township and she has not left - i am in jersey city and have been in quarantine since march, only visiting her. we decided to give the pool a try because we figured a monday wouldn't be busy and we could lay far away from others. the front desk girls were sweet and the pool had out sanitizer and had the plexy glass shield up. no one had on masks - the life guards did not either. the day camp that operates there was in the park in front of the community center when we arrived and not 1 person, counselor or child had masks on ... they were lining up to go to the pool, no one was socially distancing. it was terrible to see and made me fearful of having left jersey city where this pandemic is actually being taken seriously. shame on these workers and parents allowing their children to expose themselves to others. just because it's a small town doesn't mean you aren't at risk. i visit often, what if i has brought the virus with me ?

I spent 3 days 2 nights here with my partner on a church retreat in June. This was my first church…read moreretreat so I didn't have any expectations. The place is big. It's so big, they were accommodating 3 different groups the weekend I was there. The room I stayed in had a queen size bed and 2 sets of bunk beds. I didn't get to visit other rooms to see what other layouts they had. I did hear something about a family room which accommodates families with children. For my room, the bathroom was small. They provide hotel size body wash, shampoo, and bar of soap. Definitely bring your own toiletries because what they provide was for appearances only. The bed was comfortable but I didn't sleep on their sheets. Before the retreat, everyone told me to bring a sleeping bag. The majority of my church group brought a sleeping bag and laid it on top of the bed to sleep. Which I did the same. One of the reasons for one negative star is the meal time. Breakfast was 8am to 9am, lunch was 12pm to 1pm, and dinner was 5pm to 6pm. I thought breakfast and lunch were too close together. I felt like I had to force myself to eat at lunch even though I wasn't really hungry. But if I didn't eat, I would have to wait until 5pm. Dinner at 5pm was ideal for me because that's when I eat dinner in general. However a lot of the retreat events ended 11pm. My church provides us with nighttime snacks. Definitely bring snacks with you and a gallon of water if you come here. In the cafeteria, when it's mealtime, it can get very crowded but the lines move fast since there are multiple serving stations. The food was good. They changed the menu each day. Throughout our stay, we mostly hung out at the chapel for the services. When we did small groups, we were able to find space outside or go to someone's room. The days we had free time, there were many activities here. Some people played pickleball or tennis. There was an outdoor swimming pool that was opened in the afternoon on Saturday. I didn't see anyone use the indoor swimming pool. It was a game room with air hockey and ping pong. My partner and I did the paddle boat. There was also a playground for kids. Just taking a walk around the place is a fun activity. However, the biggest downside and contribution to one less star was the goose poop. They were everywhere!! My morning walk with my partner was mostly focused on not stepping on poop. Our last night, my church had a bonfire. This place supplied the wood. Of course our guys went crazy and wanted to make the biggest fire possible. Haha. All in all, it was a nice place to have the retreat

Very old buildings, carpets are very old( os many dirty spots that show on surface) Nobody clean…read morecarpets for century ago. ( really too old) , bathrooms are dirty, Mold and Urine smell in all our group rooms. Doors are too old and I couldn't open easily. They all stuffings. Price is higher than other Camp sites, Foods are Good. Love the foods except everything else is falling apart. Customer service Ms. Lesley who worked at night, she answer the call but when I told her about urine smell in my room, she literally ignored me. She had attitude. I Do Not Recommend any of church groups to book on this Pinebrook organization. They need to Renovate and Fix all Campus ( Especially in Overbook and ClearBrook campus). It is almost Collapse soon building.
