My friend was getting married in the area and there are not too many places to stay. This place is super cute and modern. We got two rooms. One holds 3 people (one queen size bed and another pull out sofa in a separate area of the room) and the other room held two people. The rooms were very clean and modern. The person running the place was super friendly and helpful. There was a keurig machine in the main area that we were able to use at all times which was always nice. She also put out some snacks for us- granola bars, chocolate, fruit, belvita cookies, biscotti. It was perfect for the late night munchies or a quick afternoon snack. I do wish it was a bit cheaper but i guess theres a high demand of hotel rooms in the area. For every room, you get one parking spot about 2 blocks away. read more

This boutique hotel/art gallery in the heart of Lambertville, NJ is a gem. The rooms are decorated in a modern updated style. Free parking within walking distance to hotel. Complimentary coffee, tea, snacks in the common sitting area with a fireplace. Carol, the innkeeper is knowledgeable and very accommodating. We will definitely return. Very cute, comfortable, quiet, and roomy! Carol the manager is very communicative and so sweet. She told us a bit about the history of the building and showed us some of the other rooms as well. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Very convenient. We stayed in Unit 2 which has a King bed and a separate step down living room with a sofa next to a bathroom & shower. I ended up falling asleep on the couch with quicker access to the bathroom because I was feeling a bit sick, so hubby enjoyed the king bed to himself. But the sofa can totally accommodate at least another person so the room is comfortable for 3, and maybe 4 people total. Parking - it is a little tricky. The parking pass allows you to park for free on the street at a meter between two specific blocks on Main Street. There are always apples and oranges, granola bars, yogurt, oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies, muffins available. There is also a Keurig machine for coffee and tea. There is a jug of fresh iced water as well. Cons: The hairdryer was useless. It was so weak it wasn't even usable, so I had to go out in wet hair in frigid cold weather during the "polar vortex". Please replace it. The king mattress slumps in the middle and feels like it's at end of life. There's a mattress topper seemingly to hide the fact that it's an old mattress but I'm 100 lbs and I could feel it slumping. Overall though, still comfortable. read more

The Bridgestreet House is a quaint place to stay while visiting the Lambertville/New Hope area. What makes this Inn unique is that it is also an art gallery. The artist's art is displayed throughout the first floor and even in the rooms upstairs. Carol, who manages the Inn is just a doll. She is very personable and happy to help you anyway you need. She was quick to recommend places for us to each brunch, grab a taxi and give us the history of the house. There is a Keurig set up with mugs and to go cups, chocolates and fresh fruit. As my friends and I were hanging in the lounge she even brought us some biscotti. Carol knew that we were going to a wedding and left us late night snacks for when we returned. The house itself is old but completely refurbished and modernized. I stayed in room #3 with a friend while in town for a wedding. This room has a king bed and of to the side a bathroom with a bathtub/shower. The entire house was immaculately clean. The room decor is modern yet warm. There is no television in the room. This didn't bother me but it could be an issue for some people. I believe some of the rooms have a tv. Location, location, location! The Bridgestreet House is located on Bridge Street (duh..) and Main Street. You are walking distance to everything that Lambertville and New Hope has to offer. Parking for the hosue is free but about 2 blocks away. read more

We had a fabulous time at the Bridge Street house. Carol Ann was so accommodating and thorough, we felt right at home. When we travel back to Lambertville, we will be staying here. We reserved the room downstairs with the kitchen and the king size bed and we were able to walk right outside to the most beautiful Terrace. We enjoyed cocktails and coffee on this terrace. We were able to walk throughout the town and come back when we needed a rest because it was close enough and very centrally located. It was truly a wonderful experience and we will be back! The room was clean and neat and had everything we needed. The kitchen was a bonus, we were able to store things in the refrigerator and make coffee in the morning. We highly recommend the bridge street house. Carol Ann showed us the other rooms at the house which were all equally beautiful and clean. read more

We really enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff. Lovely inn. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

What a hidden surprise!! I wasn't certain what to expect when we booked a room. As soon as we pulled up I instantly smiled. The inn has the perfect mix of modern and eclectic charm. The rooms are spotless and the service is excellent. Carol, the inn and gallery owner, is the nicest women. She takes pride in every detail. There is a nice seating section on the main floor that has a TV, coffee/tea, fresh fruit and some delicious treats. It is such a cozy atmosphere and walkable to all the shops and New Hope. There is also a backyard, it was too cold for us to use but will be amazing in the warmer months. I am telling all of my friends and family, we will definitely return! Thank you for a memorable weekend! read more

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon last week and it was magical. I can't say enough about small downtown charm. I found this spot on Airbnb and fell in love with the pictures so we booked it! Let me just say the hostess Carol Ann is amazing! She goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Not only are the rooms cozy, clean, and charming but the amenities are wonderful! You wake every morning to fresh coffee, flowers, and snacks (really tasty ones I might add). And to top it all off you get free parking and a small yet delightful art gallery in the front of the house and you're also right on the Main Street! The location is to die for. It's perfection. We will be staying here again very soon! read more

My wife and I stayed here recently for a weekend getaway to Lambertville/New Hope. We were very pleased with the experience! Our room was very cozy and Carol, the inn keeper, was quite personable and gave us numerous recommendations for local restaurants. Definitely recommend staying here! read more

I stayed here with my family hoping for the best as we were in a pinch for a place to stay in the area. I probably should have known better being that there was availability here at all, but hey, sometimes you just have to roll the dice. Plus, the location looked really convenient, which it was, albeit a little noisy on Lamberville's main drag. While I can go with the flow most of the time, this place was a bit tough to take. First, it's a tired (read: funky, and not in the cool sense), cramped and dusty old place that is in desperate need of an extreme make-over. While our matresses seemed relatively new, the water-stained pictures, rug stains and bubbling wall paper were outside my comfort zone. Tougher to bear, however, is that the inn is run by a rather, how shall I say, overly friendly innkeeper. You know the person who sits next to you on the plane and holds you captive in your middle seat for four hours telling you their entire life story eventhough you close your eyes to pretend to sleep and pray they take the hint and stop blathering on? This is her. And you're staying in her house. Needless to say we didn't partake in the next day's breakfast (the first had been quite tasty) as it was just too exhausting to contend with her monologues before (or during, or after) our first coffees. read more

We stayed at the Bridgestreet Inn for 2 nights over Thanksgiving as we were visiting family. The location can't be beat-right in the heart of town on Bridge St-walk to everything, including New Hope. The Inn itself is charming and tastefully decorated. The Inn was just renovated in 2014. It is very clean. Our room (#2) had a king sized bed and a step down sitting room with a pullout sofa (we didn't use) and a large flat screen TV with premium channels. The bathroom was off of this room. The bathroom had a stall shower. The bathroom was small and didn't have much shelf space but it's a 150 year old house-to be expected. There is a lovely courtyard with a fountain. There is a small lounge area that is stocked with snacks, fruit, bottles of water and a Kuerig. Carol, the innkeeper is very welcoming and helpful. I would gladly return and recommend it to others. read more

This was the perfect spot to stay for a romantic weekend away. The place was clean and cozy. Some of the places in the area seem really stuffy, but this place was really relaxed and comfortable. Also, the location is great. The woman who runs it is really helpful and friendly without being pushy about her suggestions(the review down below is so old I have to wonder if they are referring to a previous owner or just super unfriendly.) I hate when you stay somewhere and the owners or concierge try to push certain restaurants on you, she wasn't like that at all. read more

Took myself on my first me-cation and stayed at Bridgestreet House. I couldn't be happier with my stay here. I needed a weekend away from the madness of the city and began researching B&b's. Many of them are Victorian/vintage-style, but I specifically chose Bridgestreet for it's fresh, modern design. The bright, well-lit rooms with vibrant art, yet still felt woody and cozy. The location is so easy and close to everything you'd want to see. Only a 8-10 minute walk across the Delaware Bridge to New Hope. Carol was such a delight. So warm and welcoming, had all the best recommendations, I immediately felt right at home. I was so sad to leave, but I will definitely be coming back, hopefully in the springtime. If you are planning a trip out to the Lambertville/New Hope area, look no further than Bridgestreet House. :) read more

Great modern rooms. The lady loved the exposed wood beams. Modern feel and excellent service. The staff were enjoyable and had the best recommendations. Excited to return read more

Horrible experience. We backed out of our reservations after we saw the room. The other negative review is absolutely correct. During our walk through, we noticed that the place was unclean, in disrepair, and had an overall creepy vibe, as if we might be sleepy next door to Mrs. Havisham. And, for $155 per night on off season, it was way over priced. The room was tiny, taken over by the bed with no other place to sit, and next to the bed, was a tiny TV, circa 1985. The shower was a plastic, stand up affair and the decor was done up in faux antique kitsch--meant to look quaint but instead appearing as if Walmart had a sale on wicker baskets and Victorian vases. After we told the inn keeper that we were not comfortable staying there, she absolutely refused to consider a refund (even though, when we initially arrived, she was surprised, thinking we were coming the following day). She asked us why we didn't like the room and when we told her, she became extremely defensive and then said, I can't talk about this anymore, and left the room, only to holler through the door that we were insulting her home. We left, my girlfriend in tears, and were glad to have escaped, even though she refused to give us our money back. Better to lose $150 and NOT stay in a place that made us feel so unwelcome in such a short period of time. read more

Beautuful place! We stayed in suite #2 & couldn't be happier. Carol, the owner, is very sweet & personable & knows so much about the town. The Inn is contemporarily decorated but has retained its 1800s charm- very cute all around. read more

My family and I stayed at the Bridgestreet House for my sister's wedding weekend. We booked four rooms total and each room was cuter than the next. We all had a very comfortable stay and loved chatting with Carol. The communal space was a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee together. It's in the heart of town with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance. We'll definitely be back for another weekend getaway. read more

When in Lambertville, why would you stay anywhere but at the Bridgestreet House? Perfect location - in the heart of downtown/walking distance to everything L'ville has to offer; comfortable & affordable accommodations (have you seen what some inns are charging these days!?); Carol, the Innkeeper is a gem - we couldn't have felt more at home. I didn't want to leave! Just wonderful & exceptional in every regard. Looking forward to our next visit. read more

Quiet enjoyable to sit on the patio with refreshing cocktail and cheese plate. Service is fine, but not remarkable. A little over priced.

The Bridgestreet House was a wonderful stay for my wife and I. Carol ensured that our time there was comfortable and relaxing. She was also knowledgable on places to eat and check-out around Lambertville and New Hope. We recommend! read more

The Bridgestreet House, by far, was one of the best inns I have stayed in. Carol is amazing! From a warm welcome to advice on the city and things to do, Carol didn't disappoint. I would recommend this to anyone staying near the New Hope area! read more

My husband and I just stayed at the Bridgestreet for two nights (1-7 to 1-9) for our third wedding anniversary and let me say it was perfect! Carol is an exquisite host who made our entire process from booking to checking out as smooth as possible. We had booked Suite #2 but when we got there we were upgraded to Suite #1 because of a cancellation and we were thrilled because that is the Suite we originally wanted to book. The Suite is amazing - it really is a secluded little oasis where you can reconnect with that loved one. The separate entrances and beautiful courtyard really helped add to that little romantic getaway we were looking for and attained. The King bed is extremely comfortable, a nice size walk-in shower, full fridge, oven, microwave, plenty of closet and drawer space and a flat screen with premium channels with control of the temperature for the suite. It is a gorgeous little place tastefully decorated and modern, which I love!! You can tell they put a lot of thought into the decorating and it stands out. Carol could not be more helpful with any and all of your needs and is there to answer all of your questions. She provides free parking for your car and has such a cute little setup of fruit, biscotti, cookie/crackers, coffee, water and tea at your disposal. All in all, it was an amazing stay and I give Carol and Bridgestreet House a big thank you for such a wonderful stay and can't wait to book another stay in the summer time. read more

I stayed here recently for the weekend. Carol was super helpful and very knowledgeable. Check in and check out were a breeze. Upon check in Carol provided me with information of local places to eat and directions for places in the area. The Bridge Street House is in a perfect location, close to lots of restaurants and stores in Lambertville as well as a close walk to the bridge over into New Hope. There is only metered parking outside the place but they offer complimentary parking about 2 blocks away (easy and convenient). The room was clean and decorated well. I stayed in Room 2 which was on the second floor, had a large king size bed and a separate sitting room with a pull out couch and bathroom in the room. There was such charm with the exposed wood beams and brick wall. This place was very reasonably priced too. There is no cooked breakfast but Carol provided snacks throughout the day and there is always coffee, tea and water. It was a wonderful place to stay and if I am ever in the area again I would stay here again. read more
