Went today and they have hung a sign at the door that they only allow children that all "well…read morebehaved" well I guess I'll spend my money on a well behaved business! With that's been said this doesn't mean my children are bad or bad behaved but you as a business have to understand that all children are different some have medical issues that you may think they are bad children but they are not!!! I will support business that allow all children to come in and explore and buy your junk! Business like TJ MAX don't have stupid rules like y'all do! Management need to get off of your high horse and realize your thrift survives thanks to many parents who's children may be "bad behaved"'!!!! I will not be back and will advise friends and family not to support your business until you re-think why you still in business and your dumb sign gets taken off!!!!

Midlothian , TX 76065 972-775-1800 Instead of consigning with Encore Resale, the above thrift store is in need of donations, is also in Midlothian, and you will sleep better at night knowing that your items will go to a good cause in your community. The management is unprofessional at Encore, and if I had it to do over, I would gladly have given my items away and received a tax deduction instead of trying to repeatedly collect a small check due to me. I was told that a check could not be mailed, (after I moved) even though I told Daphne I would be moving. I was told the check had to be greater than 50.00 to be mailed, than 25.00 ...the phone is rarely answered during business hours, and although Daphne promises to call back by the end of that business day, my phone never rang by the end of any business day- calls are not returned. This photo is the only paperwork given, and only because I requested information on consigning. There is NO paperwork given when you drop off clothing- nothing entered into a computer. I had two appointments booked- to drop off clothing - in both instances, when I arrived, Patty was surprised, could not confirm my appointment. There is no communication whatsoever about how and when payment is made when your items sell. Do yourself a favor, the stress of consigning here is not worth it, donate your items down the block at Heavens Attic. My only affiliation to Heavens Attic is that of a shopper. They've got great deals too!

I understand there are overhead costs but thift shops are suppose to be less expensive than the original store! Thifting is a necessity to some, fun to some, and for anyone looking for those unique pieces. I will go to other shops, not SA.
