I'm glad I decided to get more vendors to take a look at the issues, because it turns out all my ventilation design needs to be changed, I have wood rot, and several leaks where the mold is growing. Leak is gone, and roof is further reinforced. The weather this week in particular has been a cold, windy, and wet one. It was around 25 years old and it was leaking in multiple places. I had a quote within 2 days. Was on the schedule within 5 weeks. And the work was completed in a day. Full removal of the old roof, repairs to the leaking parts of the house, and the new roof installed. I couldn't get a solid count but it seemed like 15 workers. 12 on the roof and 3 folks managing the everything not on the roof. Started at 8am and done by 6pm. It was a thing of beauty.
