Brick & Bustle has been on my vision board years prior to actually getting engaged. As soon as I said "YES" to my forever man, I knew I would be saying "YES" to my perfect dress here. I did not have an appointment ahead of time, but a last minute trip to Wichita this past weekend caused me to test my luck and go to the Brick & Bustle website to see if they had any openings - they did! We arrived just a few minutes before my appointment time and was greeted immediately by Tasha - with a friendly smile and an instant feeling of relief. She sat us down to get started on what would become one of the best days ever. Tasha talked us through the process with professionalism, charm, and calming honesty. She asked me the questions about my likes and dislikes, and took notes showing her attentiveness. She had us look through the racks, and took note of the styles I was drawn to. Then selected 5 dresses, keeping us well within budget - that she felt included each piece of my vision. I couldn't have chosen a better selection of options myself. Tasha went out of her way to get my hair put up so that we could try on veils with the dresses - she found a way to put it up fashionably and sustainable. She really blew me away when she said "do you have any comfort pieces I can leave down for you". KNOWING that as a girl, sometimes hair up can throw off the entire mood. It was so thoughtful, and left a huge impact. One thing that stood out the most was the way Tasha would provide me and my party with privacy - but never making us feel like we were alone. She would step away, and allow those private conversations to happen - but never too far that when I asked for her, she was right there again. At some point early on, it no longer felt like she was our consultant - she was apart of our group. Saying YES to my DRESS wouldn't have been possible without the help from Tasha, and I will never forget the wonderful experience she created. Brick & Bustle was my first dress appointment. I knew it was a little risky being an off-the-rack store. Either I wouldn't find anything I loved, and that was ok, or I WOULD find a dress I loved and I'd be forced to decide to buy then or wait and possibly not be able to buy it down the road. Tasha was phenomenal. She was relaxed, helpful, knowledgeable and gave me all the time and advice I needed. She was also honest and really got to the bottom of what I did and did not like about the dresses I tried on. It was quiet in the shop though there were other appointments going on. The selection was really expansive in my size range and as a plus-size gal I was worried that wouldn't be the case. I ended up trying about 5 dresses on and said yes to one that perfectly matched my vision for my wedding. Tasha wasn't pushy, but she was informative regarding if I waited there was a risk it wouldn't be here if I came back for it. I am so grateful to have discovered this shop and for Tasha's help. I had an amazing experience at Brick and Bustle, and could not be happier with how everything went. For an off-the-rack store, they have a really great selection of dresses with a wide range of styles and price points. The consultants are incredibly personable and genuinely care about helping find the perfect dress. My consultant picked out several gowns for me to try, some styles I wouldn't have chosen for myself, and I'm so glad she did because it helped me really explore what I liked. They only book two brides at a time, which makes such a difference. There's plenty of space for family and friends to sit comfortably while you're trying on dresses, and the whole building has a cozy, welcoming feel. Everyone I interacted with was kind, supportive, and made the experience feel special. I found a dress I absolutely love within my budget and ended up purchasing it here. I had a wonderful experience at Brick and Bustle! They were like an extended part of my entourage-- they were invested, cheering me on, and hyping me up! The selection was wide with various style options in various sizes. Additionally, the value of the dresses were great! It is really special that it is the only off the rack store in Wichita so when I finish paying it off in 60 days, I can take it home. I originally went in just to try on dresses and figure out what style I wanted for my wedding... but everything changed thanks to Julie! She was absolutely AMAZING --so kind, patient, and made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. I ended up falling in love with a dress I never expected, but told her I needed to sleep on it. When I got home, I told my fiancé I couldn't justify spending that much... and he looked me straight in the eyes and said, "Babe, you need to get that dress. Call them in the morning." Brick & Bustle is an amazing company. Right when you walk in the door, you experience a beautiful and comfortable aesthetic. The shop is clean and well organized. It doesn't feel like you're walking into Grandma's stuffed closet. There is beautiful, natural lighting. Their selection is the best in town, in my opinion. You will find the classics and unique flair. I think anyone could find a dress here. The staff is helpful, upbeat, knowledgeable. Julie was awesome. She helped to keep us on task while also helping us enjoy the experience. The dresses were reasonably priced for the quality. I would recommend this place to anyone! read more
