If I could possibly rate a place lower than Zero stars than it would be this place. This apartment…read morecomplex and management group deserve a negative rating and let me explain why. I moved into the apartment complex looking for a short term lease. 6 months was best they could do. For my job I'm contracted 3 months out and moved into the complex with another girl who I didn't know but profession wise we were both travel nurses. I moved in first then noticed she was looking for a place and asked if she wanted to rent from me. This quickly turned into a case of domestic abuse against me with police involvement - I wanted so badly to break my lease but the apartment complex wouldn't let me due to a lease break period. The police tried getting them to, lawyers were involved and they apartment complex said they would only let me if there was documentation of it getting physical. So I packed up and left anyways continuing to pay for the rest of my lease while I resided elsewhere. Initially it was me who moved into the apartment and paid the deposit. So when it was time to move out the complexes wouldn't give me my whole deposit back they wanted to split it. I received my deposit and then 6 months later I get a withdrawal in my bank account from the complex taking my deposit back. These people are unkind, impersonal, don't care about their residents safety, and want nothing to do with maintaining the integrity of a business and relationship with their residents. I have shared this with plenty of people and have steered potential resident away due to the lack of care from staff at the complex and management group. Please for your own safety and residential inquiries stay away from any Joseph Property Development group and specifically Greenbelt Apartments.

Dog friendly place but no place for dogs to go therefore they destroy the grass. Hallways get vacuumed every 3-4 weeks (I was told at my initial meeting it was vacuumed daily) which is especially bad during winter months with salt tracked in by humans and dogs. I did two separate tests to confirm this. They found all sorts of excuses to not refund close to half of my security deposit. I left the place cleaner then when I found it! I called Joseph Property management and he admitted to making a "clerical error" on my refund, but would not hear of anything disparaging, plus he was extraordinarily condescending. Rent at your own risk. I had several friends rent there and ALL were extremely dissatisfied. They are far more concerned about developing more apartments then they are about taking care of the ones they already have. It's way too pricey to have such lax standards of cleanliness!

The same problems that plagued this property since I have lived here have just gone unchecked. The…read moreamount of dog waste, zero visitor parking available ever, and just all-around calamity seems to persist here. It is a sincere shame that no attempts have been made to sincerely improve this property. Everything seems to be a cosmetic fix a Band-Aid to bigger problems. My appliances and fixtures are all original. My windows and doors leak. I'm basically heating or cooling Hales Corners, depending on the season. My garage has standing water in it anytime it rains or snows. The wood around the property is rotting ; instead of fixing it. They painted over it to make it appear nice. The long-standing theme here at plum tree is to put a Band-Aid over problems until they become humongous challenges and it is deeply frustrating to have massive rent increases with zero attention paid to the infrastructure of this property, everything in my previous review regarding the challenges still holds true today a decade later. The only difference is they built a playground a special sidenote, they also seem to hire the cheapest contractors on the planet. Everything is done half assed. I currently have large amounts of dead leaves all over the front of my doorway, it's February. We haven't had dead leaves since the fall. They do such a poor job, maintaining the property and charge a premium to live here. The only way anything gets updated is if it literally burns down which is extremely disappointing. i've had multiple infestations of wasps that went ignored by their pest control guy. It actually got so bad I had to flee my apartment with my small dog because it was so bad. I had wasps entering my apartment and aggressively attacking me. their pest control person refused to do anything beyond the basics, literally looked around and said, I don't see any nests inside of my apartment. after calling corporate multiple times they were finally Able to get someone on the roof and found not one massive but two massive nests. It took 3 1/2 months to get someone to listen to me. Repairs tend to be bare minimum at best. It takes a Holiday miracle to get anything replaced. It's one thing to be frugal it's another thing to be chintzy.

In unit laundry although small units Spacious room sizes the cosmetics are a little outdated yet I would rather have a larger room than a 6 panel door's. Sometimes (only a few times) you can hear next door but it's nothing to bothersome. They ask that you do run your appliances after 8am and before 9pm. After being at this apartment for 2 years we were looking for a new place and needed to extend our lease for a few months because of closing date on our new house. They jacked our rent up $500 dollars a month.

This is a non smoking community, I am a smoker, in the lease it states that although it is a non smoking community what you do in your apartment is your business, So I smoked in my apartment, after every smoke I sprayed air freshner, and btw I am not a chain smoker. They kept telling me they could smell smoke coming from my apt. Which i found odd, were they constantly standing outside my door? Every visitor I had said they could not smell smoke. They said I had to smoke outside 25 ft away from the building, I couldnt even smoke on my balcony, but grills only had to be ten feet away from the building, this still makes no sense to me. My mother was my co-signer and they actually called her to complain about me, little do they know my mother and I are very close and we shared a good laugh about it. One night I went to bed at 915, my 13 year old son stayed up and was laying on the couch playing with his DS. At 1015 he came in my room and said someone was knocking on the door, I get up to see who it is and its the police, they told me they received a noise complaint. I said thats funny cuz I'm in bed and my son is laying on the couch playing a video game at a volume so low I couldnt even hear it, the officer made it a point to tell me 3 times that it was the lady downstairs who is complaining, so I have to wonder if this has happened to previous tenants. They took my info and left. A few days later I went to the office, and I told the assistant what happened. He said he'd look into it and if it concerns me he'll let me know what is going on. If it concerns me??? Ummmm.....Yeah it concerns me, the cops were at my apartment, It concerns me a lot. Its no surprise he didnt get back to me. I kept getting 5 day notices for the smoking, at this point I just wanted out of there, I was being harrassed not only by my neighbor but by the office staff. I suggested to break my lease, cut my ties with Timber Ridge, at first they werent having it. But I didnt give up. I just wanted out. So I kept smoking and finally they agreed to let me go. An office personal told my mother they would have no problem renting my apartment, cuz they are always at full capacity. So out of curiosity I looked at the tenant portal and they are still charging me rent, for two months now, I never recieved any type of correspondence about it, and I looked to see if my apartment is still available and guess what? It isnt. So somebody is obviously living there and they are still charging me rent. Rent which I refuse to pay. Beware!!!! They may be nice to you to get you to rent there but they are absolutely shady people, bad customer service all around, They are thieves. They are double dipping. Think twice and then think again before renting at Timber Ridge,

Meeting new people can be tough sometimes, but not here. The management and tenants throw many social gatherings such as Happy Hours on the Boardwalk, Book Clubs, Friendsgiving and a Holiday Celebration, which I have greatly appreciated as it's introduced me to many neighbors within the building :) Amenities are luxurious and modern with in-unit laundry which was a must for me. There is a gym, garage parking, and a huge communal clubroom (great for hosting parties). The property manager, Krystal, has been very accommodating and quick to respond. Huge thanks to Zach who is very efficient with the maintenance services that have occurred. I've lived in placed that take days/weeks to get a request answered, but not here! I'd recommend these apartments to anyone! :)
