It could be your first or your fifth and the overwhelming will take precedence over the calm every time. It's an emotional time, leaving you off balance and logic just cannot override although we do try our best, it is still rough waters to sail. I tried to do this on my own at the start because my divorce was amicable however it's overwhelming trying to juggle day to day responsibilities then add in deadlines and filings and getting with the other spouse in a timely manner and really having unwanted communication which just adds to the emotional stages of grief and acceptance.
