I had the spicy chicken hoagie which was delicious. The meat was very fresh and flavorful, bread was soft and I loved the spicy ranch sauce ($8.99). Definitely one of the best sandwiches that I've had in a pub. French fries was a small serving and not very hot but were good otherwise. The sandwich itself deserves 4 stars. My husband had to Ruben sandwich and he said it was not one of the best. The bun was not grilled and the meat was kind of cold and was more like a pastrami sandwich than a Reuben. He also had the onion rings and said they were just okay. Great beer selection! read more

The food was fresh and really tasty. I have a hard time finding fresh beef, as I'm allergic to most processed foods and sandwiches. The steak hoagie was so worth every calorie. The bread is fresh and the meet had amazing flavor. I will definitely be coming back when I visit. read more

Not good, I ordered wings for takeout and it was horrible. I don't even know how to describe what went wrong. Not sure about the other food but that day the fries and wings, nasty. The salad was good. read more

Service is up to you, it's a bar. Super busy in pizza night. Brest selection of local beers. Can be loud when busy. Outdoor seating, but can be chilly in the winter. read more

Stopped in on a road trip after reading yelp reviews and wasn't so sure upon pulling into the parking lot. Don't let the outside fool you!! This place is a destination all on its own and we will drive miles out of our way to return. Awesome vibe, super friendly staff, great outdoor area for kids to run around while you have a beer, and the food was terrific. My picky kid RAVED about the pizza and made me promise to give a "million star review." We'll be back! read more

Great concept and loved the atmosphere. Good food, great beer. Was a great find in a small town.

Great selection of local brew. Good sandwiches. Good place to watch a ball game. Not much for atmosphere and you have to wait on yourself. But good prices, good beer, and good sandwiches. read more

Brewmasters - Basically a sandwich shop with a good variety of beers on tap. And they have a shop where you can bring some home. - Gastropubs Near Me - Goldsboro, North Carolina

We stopped in today for lunch and really enjoyed it. My 8 year old ordered the chicken tenders, I had the Mt Olympus, and bf had the spicy chicken hoagie. We all enjoyed our meals. My son and I couldn't finish ours but my bf finished both ours for us. There is a sign when you walk in telling you to seat yourself and just order at the bar, and then someone at the bar also came over to make sure we knew to order at the bar since we hadn't been there before. The two people at the bar were very friendly. We will be back. I don't really like beer but the service and food were good so since my boyfriend loves beer and likes the food too we have already decided we are coming back. read more

I really enjoyed stopping in for lunch! Quick service & great prices. Good selection of tap beer, although I had the cold brew. I'll be sure to go back! read more

We had a great time celebrating my husband's new job. It was our first time there and the hot wings (I wish they were spicier ) and the Reuben were really good, the cold beer was satisfying and the ambiance was really cool. We loved being able to pick out some beers and wine Togo. The staff was very friendly and we'll be back when we're in Goldsboro again. read more

Beautiful experience! Thankful for your online ordering and pick up plan, we picked up lunch for our whole family to have a picnic at the near by Cliffs of the Neuse state park and came across brewmasters by chance. I have said no less than 5 times since eating there that I wish I had their chicken salad recipe. So. So. Amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals and I can't wait to be back in the area and have another chicken salad sandwich! read more

Awesome atmosphere, tons of amazing beers on tap, wines, cans, bottles and great food. Prices are very reasonable; quick service and we loved the outdoor seating next to the pond. We came with a large group of friends and stayed for about five hours. We will be back --- also family friendly, the kids played with sidewalk chalk that was provided and large wooden blocks. read more

New place in Goldsboro!! Was really good. We startwd with flatbread pizza, so good had to get a 2nd one! Had chicken salad sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both really good. There's not much stuff in the chicken salad, no nuts, cranberries, etc. Boyfriend had the waynesboro sandwich. Was really good!! Friend with us had the reuben and said it was really good too. There isn't any waitstaff so you pretty much sit down where you want, order at the bar then they call your name at the window to pick up. read more

Brewmasters - Fruit ale!! Tasty! - Gastropubs Near Me - Goldsboro, North Carolina

Large variety of beers on tap as well as a large package section which included beers I haven't seen available anywhere else in North Carolina. The food does not disappoint either, we had a pretzel two pizzas and wings, all were delicious. I walked out with hard to find sour beers, three different Austin ciders, a chocolate peanut butter Porter, Banana bread beer, and a few others. They have an outdoor seating area and a decent kids menu too. read more

The place is great. The food is good, and beer selection is great and always changing. We go with the family and my son wonders around outside while we eat on the deck. One of our favorite places in town. I'm glad Goldsboro has a place like this. read more

Fellow consumers, please know your choice of plant based cuisine on your menu and dark brews are so much appreciated. It's hard to find a place where a plant based eater can enjoy a variety of food. You normally carry the inventory , you just don't offer the variety, please consider the minority. read more

I have to say I am kind of disappointed in this place. I want to preface this review by saying that it's not bad it's just kind of underwhelming. For a place to use Boars Head meat in their sandwiches and still have their food be so average is a little disappointing. In addition to this, the four times I've been my food has been cold and the last time they didn't make a single change to my order that I requested. It's the little things that make a restaurant an enjoyable place to go to and this place doesn't really do any of them. read more

I found this place to be a missed opportunity. The location itself is very cool: laid back, open, and inviting. The draft beer selection was decent but not great. I had the spicy chicken hoagie which was outstanding but my wife had a steak sandwich which was made of lunch meat and was extremely dry and flavorless. The selection of beers to go was quite good for a shop this size but were ridiculously overpriced (and as a person that visits numerous bottle shops per week, I should know). My biggest issue with Brewmasters was the bar staff. The two girls working were apathetic, slow, and lacking knowledge. My wife and I stood at the bar for several minutes hoping to order drinks while they looked at us and finished a non-work related conversation. When my wife asked a question about one of the beers, the girl helping us literally rolled her eyes. When asked a question about the food, she had no idea. On the bright side, the guy making the food was super nice and friendly. I will likely give this place another shot as they are doing some things very well, but if they hope to succeed, they need to clean up some issues. read more

really good food i had spinach wrap thing with bacon turkey and stuff it was really good and their fries are good too! i recommend the Chicken Avocado Wrap read more

Man I tell ya, this is one helluva place! They've even got beer from Neptune on tap, all ya gotta do is ask! The beer is probably why you're checking this place out (see: name of restaurant), but the food is high-key killer. Not like serial killer dahmer killer, more like donna scrivo killer. The only negative is one of the bartender's boyfriend was there and he didn't look very pleasant, gave me a really mean look, and to be honest, my feelings were hurt. I'd love to come back, but I just don't know if he's there again. read more

Great Food Friendly Staff MASSIVE beer selection Nice atmosphere The owner came over and talked to us and made sure everything was in order. read more

Food was hot delivery driver forgot to take tip I left on porch but the sent the wrong sandwich ordered a steak hoagie got a roast beef

The food is pretty good, I will give them that. Side salad needs a bigger container because it spills all over the table (which I guess isn't a bad thing because it's a full salad but you lose a lot on the table). It is hard to eat unless you cut because they shred the lettuce so it's super long and stringy. It's an order at the bar type place so just expect to wait on yourself. They were out of four items that we wanted so that kinda sucked. Overall a solid place- I would say 3.5. read more

If you are in the mood for bar food, then Brew Masters is a great place to go. Their pizzas have to be my favorite thing on the menu. Brewmasters also has a decent beer selection. It has been a great addition to the Goldsboro area. read more

We came to Goldsboro for a wedding and although we've been blown away by the Carolina BBQ throughout the state, with coagulated blood we were hoping for something that at least had a semblance of healthy or light. The food here is incredibly fresh and delicious. Coming from California I was very happily surprised. The avocado and cucumber on their Baboon cold wrap stuffed with not too much cheese, and a healthy serving of spinach really hit the spot. Feeling a bit better about life, we had the fried pickle chips (we are still in NC can't completely depart from the oily goodness) and what a fantastic decision that was. I can't recollect a better pickle chip in my life. Worth the trip alone. To add to the deliciousness, they're deli mustard is clearly stone ground rich goodness, the ranch is creamy and coats your taste buds without overpowering, and the metro deli chips were to die for. Top it all of with an incredible beer selection and well, this place is an absolute hit. Kudos brewmasters! Now do us a solid and get the Sunday ticket ;). We're hoping to see you at great American beer fest in Denver! read more

Being from New Jersey, I know how pizza should be made. All other areas of the country cannot bear a good NJ/NY slice. At the same time I do have to say the bar pizza they have, especially the funky fresh pizza is quite good. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food, as well as the consistency of it, as I have ordered it around 33.5 times currently. Other food I have tried from there such as the lamb sliders and big pretzel have also been great. read more

I like this place but I go here for yoga class and beverages afterwards. It's a creative format. I really like the huge selection of wine and that I can buy a bottle with a meal and cork it to take home. Perfecto. read more

Brewmasters has a great atmosphere and the back porch area is really nice! It's good to sit outside if you have a big group. They have a pretty unique selection of local beers on tap. Their food is mediocre in my opinion. Their sweet potato fries are amazing and so are the pickle chips! It's kind of inconvenient that you have to ask and pay extra for condiments such as ranch. Ranch, honey mustard, etc. usually come with no extra charge else where. A good bar in Goldsboro overall! read more

Love all the sandwiches and flatbread pizzas...but their new menu item, Lamb and Pork sliders are my new favorite! Perfectly seasoned with an amazing sauce. Must try! read more

Everything on the menu is fabulous! From the fried pickles to the sandwiches and pizzas. Great friendly staff!!

Fantastic find. Driving thru town and got hungry. Lucky for us we found this place. Aaaamazing spicy ranch to dip crispy fried pickles in. Delicious pesto-veg pizza. Yum spicy chicken sandwich. And about a bazillion beers (about 20 on tap). What could be bad? read more

I have been here about 3 times for beer, and the service was good, and they have a good selection of beer. Went there today and wanted to grab beer dip, and it was beyond disappointing. We sat at a table, but still had to order at the bar, which was strange. They do offer a large amount of pita chips with the dip, but the dip was terrible. Beer dip is suppose to be served warm, and is was almost cold, and it was not made correctly at all. Other people enjoyed their sandwiches, but I don't plan to dine here again. read more

We happened on this spot by chance and luck. Great lunch choices, friendly and FAST service. Portions were perfectly sized. It's cool how you can look at the wide selection of beer and buy just one if you want. Everyone's sandwiches were delicious, staff was friendly, everything was clean, ample parking. I wish we had a place like this where I live! read more

We've been there three times. Second time we left before the order was completed on the order screen. Third time was the charm. The bratwurst is delicious. However, the atmosphere was horrible. Music played for the first few minutes than stopped..... never started and we got to enjoy beer deliveries and listening to did you write a check for the beer delivery? Perhaps if at least one tv was not on mute that listening to TMI could have been avoided. I've never looked for close captioning on a random tv in my life. Just eat and leave ( like put some atmosphere in this place people) was on mute. Lunch time is probably the difference. That said as a business if you are going to be open during lunch time...... we have to basically wait on ourselves. At least act like you make nice with customer that thought on the first two visits you were just having an off day. read more
