Not too shabby at all - considering highly priced airport food! Their selections of the buffet included salads, sausages with pieces of pork, pancakes and bread! It was a deal! You get to dine in as well, which was leisurely great! If you are not too hungry for a buffet, they do offer quiches, sandwiches, beverages and the usual cafe items at the front! This grand cafe conveniently has wifi too! I loved to linger here while awaiting for my flight returning home!

Then I spotted in the distance, at the very end of the row of gates, a sign saying "Joe & The Juice". I looked closer, and they had some limited food, as well as coffee and juices. I ordered a spicy tuna sandwich, which was hot (temperature) and had some spiciness in the tuna mix. The bread was a whole grain, rather flat, but very tasty, and overall it hit the spot. They were out of the nitro cold brew, so I just had a normal cup of coffee. It was a perfectly good cup of coffee. Having finished that I felt ready to travel.

I guess what disappoints me is that "A coffee shop just outside the 'Arrivals'-exit at the airport" sounds absolutely brilliant. Like, what else is there to do while waiting for that loved one to arrive? I'm generally of the opinion that we give each other flowers way too rarely, but coming of an airplane may be the one exception. It's just clearly not the time. And coffee isn't just a nice gift, it's also a crucial ally in the battle against the jetlag. I have only grabbed anything here when everything else is closed so the good thing is that they open early. The coffee is poor both due to poor quality beans and staff not knowing how to make espresso based beverages. The sandwiches are dry and almost not possible to eat. I asked regarding what they could offer me to be gluten-free as they do offer a range of sandwiches - once I asked them questions about the bread for example if it was seeded (I don't like seeded bread and I wanted to make sure it wouldn't be the same as Taste of Scandinavia nearby) they ended up telling me they had no gluten-free bread in broken English. The juices are a little overpriced but it's an airport and compared to the rest of Arlanda it actually works out good value - costing around 12 SEK more for a fresh juice compared to a regular drink, the size might work out smaller, however. They did have a decent selection of juices on the menu, but again the staff even lacked knowledge of what was behind them in regards to if they could add something to the Cold Brew for example. Considering how many stores I've seen from this brand around Sweden, especially compared to back home in the UK where Joe's only tend to be in department stores like Debenhams and John Lewis it was a let down - a slightly generous rating with an extra star just for it is one of the nicer and slightly quieter places in the airport's largest international terminal. 2*
