My massage and reiki experience in Simsbury with Erika Lange this past weekend, was simply amazing. Erika's paperwork, private & confidential conversation, intuition and experience, captured what I desperately needed: a gentle, intentional, skilled, quiet, 90 minute massage - no talking, just being. I FELL ASLEEP - this was a first! And then I experienced reiki. The warmth of her touch in areas I have experienced injury, stress, trauma and tension, simply melted away. This is the gift of an intuitive, trained, practitioner. I left in a dreamlike state. Relaxed, peaceful, calm. All the errands that felt so important when I set out that morning, were put aside while I enjoyed a slow drive home, feeling centered, with a quiet mind. Here are a few photos I took to share. Please share with your local friends - they'll thank you. Erika, I'll be back soon. Thank you!

When booking a couples massage the receptionist was able to look at multiple dates, times and therapists. I can not rave enough about how amazing my massage with Alfonso. He checked in multiple times through the hour about pressure and speed. His hands are like magic melting down knots and stress. He has a little hot towel on the back surprise right at the beginning which really helps so much with loosening up muscles. What a great idea! He was so calm and reassuring the entire time. Extremely disappointing experience -- over $2,000 charged with no fair resolution…read more I am deeply disappointed with our experience with Elements Massage in Avon, CT. We moved to Seattle over a year ago, but our HSA account was unknowingly being charged automatically for our membership, accumulating over $2,000 in charges. When we discovered this, we reached out to the Avon location to resolve the issue. Initially, we were assured that our accumulated sessions could be credited and redeemed at any Elements Massage location nationwide. Relying on that statement, we attempted to book sessions at the Bellevue, WA location, but they refused to honor them. When we contacted the Avon studio again, the response was frustrating and dismissive. While the owner eventually offered to credit just 4 classes, they refused to honor or refund the remaining balance of the roughly 25 accumulated sessions we paid for. To make matters worse, our attempts to follow up further have resulted in disconnected calls, leaving us with no reasonable way to resolve a significant financial dispute. We are not asking for free services; we are simply seeking a fair resolution for over $2,000 automatically billed to our HSA while living thousands of miles away. We are formally requesting a complete accounting of all charges, an explanation of the continued billing after our move, and a fair remedy for the full balance of paid, unused sessions. If this cannot be resolved directly, we will take the necessary formal and legal steps to recover our funds. Please closely monitor your account and recurring HSA charges if you hold a membership here, and ensure any verbal promises regarding transfers or session roll-overs are documented in writing.

The building is a Simsbury historic, former family mansion, restored with the most elegant touches. My hair stylist is Ali. She is extremely talented ~ best highlights and cuts I remember since the hair stylist I loved during my high school years. She is super warm, friendly and comfortable to spend those 1-2 hour appointments with (the things we women go though huh). She is so good at what she does, my husband and father have gone to her for cuts and... even though they have unique head shapes and Hair characteristics, she has given them both their best cuts. No surprise my mother also joined in for her weekly wash and blowouts with complete satisfaction. I have also seen how talented she is with all types of hair including curly tresses. I follow the salons Instagram page and know from what I see, and from seeing the numerous ladies I know from around town who use Rhenium as their Beauty hub, that ALL of the stylists are at that elite level of talent and professionalism. I know they also do weddings and updos. Today I walked in and was greeted by Kathy and Sophie. Kathy is so personable, and can help you book appointments, buy gift certificates, and even help you find your way around the boutique and their new better-consignment section. I believe she helps order and run the boutique (I could be wrong and will update if needed). Sophie has a nutrition-wellness & life coaching business, and can even do tarot card readings while you get your do done. Today I picked up a wonderful crystal filled spray bottle of room spray that Sophie created that I already love! On the website look under "More of the Good Stuff" to see what Sophie offers. Both of these ladies will provide you with professional and kind service. Today I met Leslie for a facial.. what a special and caring person she is. She created such a relaxing and beautiful room to pamper her clients. The facial was so much more than a facial! I was immediately helped to relax. She took her time, massaged my head, shoulders and parts of my upper shoulders and back. I felt so taken care of and she was just lovely to chat with. I didn't realize just how much I needed this pampering and relaxation. I left feeling so happy & relaxed... from a booked facial! I'm still new to this salon so I imagine as I experience new services I can come back and update you. In addition to hair and skin care, nutritional services and life coaching, they have a masseuse and a red laser lit sauna! Do yourself a favor and check out their website and book yourself a well-deserved pampering appointment! You can book online. If you need a gift for a lady in your life, I guarantee their boutique has something you can quickly pick up that will be greatly appreciated.
